Being 39yrs and 200lbs I need to tighten my trucks more than the young’ins. With the kingpin being inverted, I’ve tightened them as much as the kingpin will allow and the bolt is hitting the bottom of the board and can’t tighten anymore. I don’t like risers but will probably need to add them to get another turn on the kingpin bolt. I like when the kingpin stuck up. Then you can just grind down the pin if it sticks up past your axles.

I'm a husky guy, so I need to tighten my trucks down enough that I'm not getting wheel bite when I land ollies. The kingpin on these will only tighten enough for a loose ride. I've tried adding an extension bar to the allen key and the spanner for extra leverage and got nothing out of the kingpin except for burred corners and bruised knuckles. Shredded a skate tool as well. As it stands I can't use these.

These are awesome trucks but if you like tighter trucks you’re going to have to upgrade to some harder bushings. If you’re used to a slightly higher ride than the mids give you you can take your favorite Indy hanger and slap that one on instead. I did both of these to my new mids and absolutely love them. So depending on your preference these trucks are pretty versatile and customizable.

I bought two pair 129 and 139. Love the flipped kingpin. Mids turn great. Grind is good. First pair of Indy's in 20 years. Didn't rate great cause my hanger started slipping and jammin up my wheel. Probably buy another set though when I burn through these. Yeah I ride a skinny board... so sue me!
I really enjoy these trucks. I've been riding Venture Lows the past 15-20 years and wanted to experiment with new shapes/sizes this year. I tried Krux but they were way too high and I kept getting ghost pop. I switched to these mids and they felt amazing. The geometry makes turning with these trucks so much fun.
Love the inverted kingpin. I switched it out with a Krux downlow kingpin for even more clearance. The only thing I don’t like is the mid hanger. The standard hanger feels like it has a better turning radius.
Perfect trucks for all around skating, especially when hitting up the parks as well as thrashing up the streets with some good old fashioned street skating. These trucks will not disappoint they can take a beating & still be perfectly fine. They are the best, you need them. GO GET YOU A PAIR ASAP**
The turn is perfect for these trucks and the kingpin clearance works for a mid. I really liked that the bushings sort of settled into my style of skating. If you skate tight trucks, let them settle in before cranking them down. Overall quality is great!
These trucks are good. Lightweight, quality finish. The bushings are good. The kingpin is of a different design than I have seen. It may be superior because the threads won't get messed up since they are not exposed. I'm a happy camper.
These looks like an awesome independent truck already stepping it up with a awesome kingpin to hanger design. I do wonder if the 159’s have a six hole pattern same as standards. I’m sure if not it’s still a great guaranteed mid truck in 159. And even though now I ride more bowls I’m sure if I want to use my 56 mm wheels all I need is a 1/8th or so riser pad these looks awesome great jobs guys. I’d love to review product with Ron that’s my dream job!!!!
