Absolutely love this jacket! I packed it for a recent business conference and it travels exceptionally well and provides a great option for a flexible wardrobe. Only slight recommendation I have would be to shorten the sleeves a little or have a button option to prevent the sleeves from over extending. That small point aside, it should not dissuade anyone from buying this wonderful jacket.

When I first ordered this I thought there was a good chance I would end up returning it. But after it arrived and I felt how soft it was and tried it on I instantly knew I would be keeping it. I honestly think it might be the most comfortable piece of clothing I own and it looks good with anything from a T-shirt underneath it to a nice button down. The fit is amazing too.. it couldn’t possibly fit any better and the crazy thing is that while up in NYC for a weekend visiting friends my girlfriend who is literally half my weight and 8 inches shorter than me got cold so I gave it to her to put on and it looked incredible on her (kind of like an oversized women’s blazon) and she got just as many compliments as I did.

I love this blazer...my wife makes fun of me for how often I wear it! It is super soft and looks good with my dress pants and loafers or denim and boots. I will echo another review that the sleeves might be a touch long. I tried on a medium at the Spring Lake store and it was just a touch too small. Otherwise fit-wise I'd say it's relatively true to size. I'm 5'10, 185, and the large is good. Great quality item from my peeps at Faherty...if I didn't already have a blue blazer, I'd get this one in the navy!

Saw Inlet Kn it Jacket end of season in store, but size not available! Wanted the grey, bought the blue as only one then available. Online, dealt with Cara Dooley, customer service. The best! She could not have been more responsive and helpful. When grey one became available, she assisted with prompt return of the blue one and ordering the preferred color. More, I'm used to self-praising ads by companies about their responsiveness to customers., often just hype. Faherty has them all beat --- what other company even gives you a credit above full refund and, no shipping charge, if you want to make a return? Same day service and no hassle.And the jacket? it’s a beautiful blazer, with a really lovely soft material- quality feels very high and looks great. It was worth the wait for restocking (customer service were really helpful).Worth noting the of ordering from the UK I would size down e.g. I typically take a UK medium/ 38 blazer but the medium was far too large, the small fits great (sleeves perhaps still a little long).Cost me ~£50 to return so bear in mind when ordering.
Great casual piece when I don’t want to wear one of my bespoke sports coats. Perfect for throwing on with denim and a tshirt. Let’s talk size. I am 5’9” and weigh 180 with an athletic build. I have a 42” chest and 32” waist. My sleeve length on dress shirts is 34”. My shoulders are fairly broad. I have been doing CrossFit for 12 years. I wasn’t sure re size so I went with a medium. I got it today and it fits me like it was tailor made. Perfect sleeve length. There is no spot I would need to get this tailored. It’s going to be fun to wear for sure.
I love the look and feel of the Inlet blazer. The material is lush and soft and the fit is slim, but not tight. The blazer just moves with me and the style is a modern, athletic cut. While I expected a lot, the blazer exceeded my expectations in the looks department. Caveat on sizing: I had a hard time choosing between S (which was Faherty's recommendation based on other brands I wear) and XS (based on the measurement guide). I recommend you skip the brand guide and use the measurement guide. If I had gotten a Small, it would have been much too big and the sleeves too long. I'm 5'9 1/2" and weight 140. Other reviewers have noted that the sizing runs big, and I concur. I've never bought an XS from any other brand, but the Faherty blazer in XS was a perfect fit.
Huge Faherty loyalist, but this one was a miss. Average for a $99 blazer tops, but poor for this price point. Cut not too bad, but poorly stitched, completely unstructured, and unflattering even on an admittedly fit person. Also too easily wrinkled (it arrived looking like it was once in a ball.) Disappointing because the photos make it look amazing. A rare fail by a favorite brand. Wanted to love it!
Having tried on a large (too big) and a medium (too short) I was excited to see a Medium Tall offered in Heather Gray. Out of the box, the fabric felt great, but what an odd fit. The length was perfect as were the shoulders, but the waist was cut more for a man with a large belly (I'm 6'2 and 190lb). After a trip to the alterations shop and spending an additional $80, it's perfect. The materials feel great—I hope it holds up over time. I'd possibly get the Navy as well if offered in MT, but the price of alterations should be considered.
As a long time Ralph Lauren and J CREW customer, I like different things. I also like things that look dressy but as not uncomfortable to wear and this hits the mark perfectly. J CREW had a French Terry blazer I purchased last & have had tons of comments but cotton, terry or khaki type cloth blazers in a Regular fit and NOT skinny or Fitted is tricky so I loved the fact that this fits me. I'm by no means fat but do have a small belly, broad shoulders so a touch more room is always appreciated so thanks for making this blazer. Would love to see more colors in the coming years. Oh- I'm normally a Large size but this XL fits well. Maybe a slight bit larger than a formal fitting blazer but gives one room to maybe wear a thin sweater underneath.
