I received the Cherry Blossom Jelly Cream complimentary from innisfree to try out and in exchange for my honest review. I have been on the hunt, *genuinely*, for a gel like formula cream. In my eyes it is so innovative and is a different take on moisturizer. I have taken a good amount of time to try out the product by itself and as a part of my makeup routine and let me tell you it has made a difference. I see a brighter complexion which is great because I have minor acne scars and my skin at time can be dull. It is such a refreshing feeling and I love feeling like I have little to nothing on my skin especially since I live in a very dry and humid environment.

Very happy with this product. Purchased this after seeing multiple people recommend this gel cream for glass skin and especially for summers. This didn't disappoint in both fronts. It is perfectly light and comfortable to wear in hot humid weather. Absorbs quickly plus gives you such a healthy glow. I'm really enjoying using this product. For oily skin, a light toner, this gel cream and spf will be more than enough. However I would recommend dry skin types to layer up before applying using the cream.

After 10-15 minutes, the jelly is absorbed and the face becomes less shiny. For this reason, the product is not suitable for me as an element of day care. But for the night it turned out to be just perfect! Paired with a toner from the same brand, it provides quite powerful hydration. I can also note that my complexion becomes more even.

It's more like a gel than a moisturizer consistency. Smells good but I couldn't use it in the AM as anything I put over top of it made it all pill. In the PM it was hard too to use too if you use any other serums, moisturizers etc as that made it pill too. Very sticky like and didn't absorb well. My skin is on the dry side and normally, any products I use gets absorbed quickly for reference. I tried using it alone to avoid the pilling but it didn't moisturize well enough either. I gave it two stars for the pleasant smell and the fact that it didn't make me break out as I have sensitive skin. I wouldn't recommend.

A little goes a long way, you can use just a tiny bit and it will cover the whole left side of my face which is NOT the case for many moisturizers. With my previous moisturizer I had to continuously dip the spatula in over and over since it did not spread well. Secondly and most important…this moisturizer WORKS! The moisturizer feels like a refreshing splash of cold water when applying to my face. The texture is a watery gel that's not sticky. It's not a cream at all. I can easily press the gel into my skin, and it actually absorbed into my face with minimal pressure.It dries down to a paper thin velvet feel. My skin has a smoother,semi-glow after the very first use. After a few more days, my skin is looking more radiant. I liked this jelly moisturizer as a foundation prep and it didn't pill up with sunscreen.I appreciate that there's a tamper-proof seal inside the jar. I received this complimentary from innisfree.
I received a sample jar of this in a recent Space NK promotional gift box. I wasn't sure what to expect from this moisturiser because of the consistency which, as the name suggests, is quite jelly-like. In the past, when I have tried gel like moisturisers like these, they haven't been hydrating enough for my skin and my skin feels quite dry and tight afterwards. That wasn't the case with this moisturiser, though. Despite being very light, it still felt very nourishing. Maybe it wouldn't be enough for the winter when my skin needs more TLC but it would be ideal for summer.
I was dubious about using this, as it’s the first time I’ve used a gel-style moisturizer, but was pleasantly surprised! It had a very subtle cherry scent, and actually absorbed quickly despite its gel texture. It left my skin smooth and seemed almost like a primer - sunscreen and makeup glided smoothly on top. However, I also felt it left my skin feeling sticky. I also don’t know how hydrating it would be in winter months. But in summer months, so far it’s been nice to use, and it’s the first time in a long time I’ve tried a ‘different’ product like this.

I have used the black tea cream on and off for a couple of years but finally tried this one and will buy another pot. I was dubious on how efficient it might be given the texture, but it actually hydrates more than other more expensive creams. For day time in summer months I prefer it to the black tea cream and have on occasion used it at night. It performs very well: my skin is not tight in the morning. Admittedly I use it on top of essence, serum and sometimes oil, so my baseline is high and in the day I might add sun cream and foundation, both of which adhere well to the jelly cream.It is sticky and shiny, but I like the sheen.At this price, it is an absolute bargain.I have super dry skin, prone to dermatitis and I am 56.
