I bought one of these taps after considering a ZIP system for a long time. The ZIP's are $2.5k and there aren't enough cups of tea that can justify that cost for me. This one priced at $1k is perfectly cheap enough and the external tap looks good enough that anyone else would naturally assume you've got a ZIP system. The hot water boiler/container unit is small enough to fit under most sinks, either top or bottom shelf. The box comes with a screw on water filter that's attached to your cabinet, separate to the heating unit. You need to make a hole in your benchtop/sink about the size of a 50c piece to fit in all the hoses and tubes coming out of the tap, so consider this when thinking about placement, and ensure you have the correct tools to make the hole before ... MoreI bought one of these taps after considering a ZIP system for a long time. My box came with two instruction booklets, one with a lot of diagrams and not many pictures, and another the complete opposite.Key things to remember: Run the tap for 3 mins straight (power off) after you’ve completely connected it, don’t mount the tap so you need to pull the lever into the sink to activate it (you’ll end up burning yourself that way), install the tap and feed the hoses down through the hole before you decide on a final resting spot for the boiler, remember there will be a few mm drop from where you drill the holes to where the boiler ends up resting on the screws, measure the hole depth for the screws properly so you don’t drill through the back of your kitchen cabinet.

We had to replace our older model Insinkerator hot tap as water was leaking at the bottom of the box under the sink and it was constantly tripping the power. Had our plumber installed it and it's looking and functioning very well. Reboils are no longer loud. There's a safety lock on the tap itself which was handy, but you'll need to let others know, if they have ever used it before. Otherwise, it was a great purchase.

Value for money and reliable product that provides on-going hot water. It's especially good when you don't have able counter space for a separate electric kettle, which requires constant re-heat. Best part is you don't need to deal with electric kettle ever again. This is a replacement of an older model which is no longer in stock. The old unit had to be replaced as it was leaking under the counter.Had our plumber in to swap the unit under an hour.We are very happy with this purchase!
We installed this a few months ago, having boiling water available all day is a great improvement on boiling a kettle, great when cooking or for a cuppa, highly recomended
good quality product, works really well. Wish I moved over to use one years ago.Saves so much time and it is so easy to use.
Works really well. It provides hotter water than our last kettle. Sometimes splutters a bit but just need to be aware.
Excellent product and makes life so much easier
