Modest upgrade from the last version, but a terrific action camera due to its size and usability. Especially when you pair it with it's included and other available accessories. A must have for small FPV drones due to its light weight. Also attached it to my toddler, cat, and dogs for fun POV videos. Great camera, lots of creative potential, and a ton of fun!

I am pretty sure I just found the best vlogging camera ever. The camera is super compact with a flip screen. I can vlog with just the 35gram camera or with the camera inside the action pod. Even when vlogging only with the tiny camera, I can still preview from the action pod. What's more, the camera is waterproof up to 16ft. And it comes with tons of mounts, the hat clip, a magnetic pendant, and my favourite pivot stand. You can take the base out of the pivot stand and attach it on a tripod.It's also a lit action camera. The footage is butter-smooth. I don't need to carry my gimbal, and bulky gear to shoot videos anymore. This is the best purchase I've ever made for this year. Highly recommended!

This camera is so small and discrete and great! The quality is not going to blow away it's competition, but no other camera from other brands can match it's size. Size is the main selling point, so it wins in that sense. The new pod with the flip screen is very useful, and basically the biggest upgrade over the Go 2.
The first Go 2 camera mounts were terrible and quickly broke. With this new camera they have updated the mounts to be fully metal and a lot more durable. Making GoPro mounts look and feel plastic.Also, the previous necklace mount had an issue where often times it would point to the sky when wearing. I see that they have given youa magnetic wedge, to place behind the necklace to point correctly, nice touch.

The only real reason to get this camera is for the interesting camera angles you can get with it when it is out of its dock. In every other way, this camera is bested by a GoPro. Still images are small and grainy, video is mostly unimpressive and it doesn't shoot 4K which surprised me. That said I'm probably going to still get a lot of use out of it as an extra camera angle, and I'm excited to get some interesting angles since you can stick it almost anywhere.
The Insta360 Go 3 Is a but smaller than my Osmo Action (and GoPro). Other features that set it apart are the rotating flip-up screen, the quick attach magnet latch system and the detachable camera. The Insta360 firmware allows different filming perspectives than the normal action camera "wide or extra wide" choices. Coming from the world of DSLR, Osmo Action and Osmo Pocket 2, this stands out as super 'handy'!

I love that this version has a flip screen where I can preview / monitor myself while vlogging! Here are some of my favorite features1. the removable camera from action pod: i honestly didn't think I would love this feature so much, but because the camera is magnetic, I can literally stick it anywhere that's magnetic which makes vlogging / creating content WAAAAY easier. i find myself not needing to use my tripod as much anymore because of this feature.2. reframing setting: this has made my life so much easier as a creator!!
