ScaleColor – Instant Color is a range of highly pigmented heavy body washes in water-based acrylic, offering great coverage. Designed to allow painting of mid-tones, highlights, and shadows in one coat over specially formulated “Charm” primers. These paints dry with a finish similar to the ScaleColor Fantasy & Games range. Formulated for brush and airbrush application, these thin paints are applied in translucent layers that create dimensionality in your figures by concentrating color in the sculpted recesses and allowing a higher proportion of the undercoat to show through on the “higher” points of a model simulating layered or blended highlights. With their ease of application, specialized formulation, and wide selection of colors to choose from, these paints can greatly decrease the time needed to get a figure (or an army!) to the tabletop.
