I bought the instant pot as it has a stainless steel inner pot which you can sear your meat on the stove for great flavour before adding your other ingredients and liquid for putting on as a slow cooker. I have only used it as a slow cooker so far in the couple of weeks I have owned it. It is a very slow and gentle, slow cooker. I have just purchased a glass lid to use when using it as a slow cooker, as when you use the standard lid when slow cooking, pressure builds up and you can't open the lid mid way through cooking to take a look, until you release the pressure. Have also used the instant pot to make a bone broth cooked slowly for 48 hours. Looking forward to using the pressure cooker function.

Best product for this modern era ,its really handy for cooking.
Very easy to use, also easier to clean than I was expecting. I was worried about losing functionality changing from a stovetop pressure cooker but am actually finding it much better and wish I’d bought it sooner. The sauté function gets hot enough to brown meat without needing to use the stove, and the timer function on the pressure cooker means you can leave the house with it on.
A gift for my daughter and she loves it! So versatile!!
I have enjoyed using my Instant Pot Duo Nova for the last couple years but have been holding out to upgrade to the Pro. I can say that I'm absolutely loving it! Not only does it cook really well, but I'm finding some of the improvements are making all the difference. I always liked that the Instant Pot inner pots are stainless steel (no non-stick coating!), but this one also has handles which makes lifting and serving so much easier. It also locks into place so it doesn’t spin if I need to sauté ahead pressure cooking. I also like the lid with the switch as I'm finding releasing steam is a lot less stressful. There is also a little cover that sits over the steam valve and helps to muffle out the noise a bit.
