We used the slow cooker on the first day it was delivered to make a lamb curry and it was out of this world amazing. Very easy to set up, ingredients in, timer on and left it to do its job. Came back to aromas and delicious lamb curry that was tender and delicious. With such little effort and big flavours we have stopped using it and have made beef stroganoff, whole slow cooked chicken (amazing!), beef mince chilli, whole gammon joint, vegetable soup. Lots of plans for more and cannot wait!

Absolutely love having a place to cook all my meals without going through lots of pots and pans, the food comes out delicious and saves me a lot of time. All the recipes I have tried so far have come out spot on and while things are cooking I have lots of time to do other things, a brilliant solution for my family and for cooking big meals in one go. Totally worth it! I don't think i'll be going back to normal pots and pans anytime soon. Great for stews and currys and tones of new recipes to try out, so excited! Highly recommended!

What a disappointment after all the good reviews! I would really like to return this but can't because I couldn't see that it didn't heat up enough to cook properly until I tried using it once. I tried cooking a slow cook chicken soup recipe, which I used to cook very successfully in my previous slow cooker. I started the soup with pre boiled water so the cooker didn't have to heat up the broth from cold. But even on Hi the broth didn't get hot enough to cook the chicken. It just sat limp in hot water for 8 hours. Brought this and haven't stopped using since. Easy to use and works perfect every time Have tried lots of dishes for family including making a crumble. It's increased my intake of vegetable which is great! Fits great in my smallKitchen and seeing the timer counting down gives me freedom to multi task other jobs. When it's done it sits on warm which is perfect if I'm not in or not ready.Easy to wash, not heavy to lift cooks great
I just purchased an Instant Superior Slow Cooker 7.1L from Kitchen Warehouse, and OMG, where have you been all my life. I have always had the old cheapy crockpot special, which has always done the trick. But this Instant, which also sears, has shown me that a metal slow cooker is the bomb. The flavour it gives, the ease, and the size. I will never go back. Thanks Kitchen Warehouse for a great purchase, quick delivery and new tasty meals
We have used this a couple of times now. We cooked lamb shanks the first time and then a batch of spaghetti bolognese. Found the product easy to use. The sauté function is really useful and you don't need another frying pan!!!We have used the quick cook and slow cook and both work really well.Easy to clean the pot itself straight in the dishwasher along with the lid.The rest is just a wipe down.Looking forward to cooking more with this as we can go out and leave it cooking.Wee store in the corner of the kitchen and it doesn't take up too much room.
I'm wondering why more folks haven't spilled the cocoa on this gem. It's become my lifesaver in the holiday! Sauté, slow-cook, and serve, all in one pot, it is TRUE!!! Perfect with the whole gang-there were ten of us! Lightweight to carry around the table too. Keeps the feast warm until everyone's ready. And it's dishwasher safe! In a nutshell, this Instant Pot is highly recommended.
I had an antient slow cooker which I wanted to replace. I love all Instant products and I am glad that Instant came with such an amazing product.Sauté function is really useful as I can prepare my curries within the same pot and then slow cook it.It's easy to use, lightweight to carry from kitchen to the table. I can see my food while cooking through transparent lid. I will highly recommend this product.
I bought this to replace a Crockpot slow cooker which I never used as it didn't sauté and had no adjustable timer. This one fits the bill - it sautés which I think is essential if you're going for a one pot and done. You can also adjust the time that it slow cooks which is also essential - I often cook vegetarian stews and I don't want vegetables that have been cooked for 6 hours even slow cooked! It is quite large so I don't keep it on the counter top, but it's great for batch cooking. The touch screen is a doddle to use and it can be used to steam as well. The internal bowl is easy to wash. All in all I'm really happy with it.
I've used this slow cooker 3 times now. It's very large but great for batch cooking. There are options to brown food, keep warm/reheat and high and low slow cooking and you can alter the time from the presets. The only thing I'm disappointed with is the finish of the pot. I only use spoons etc suitable for non stick pans and haven't used a scourer or put it in the dishwasher but already the finish is wearing away from the bottom of the pan and looks like it will rust. Very disappointing.
