Meaning, 4 of the 6 they list are, all the same process.Broil would conceivably only give you heat from the top element, at least what it means in a traditional oven, and sort of assume it's the same here, but this is not a good vessel for broiling. So unless you have literally no other cooking options, not a real selling point.I haven't tried dehydrating with this. It might work, and if that's something you're interested in, could actually be beneficial. Convection ovens can dehydrate with certain settings, so the fan system should be similar. My concern would be how the racks work and food safety features, as if dehydration of things like meat are done wrong it can be literally deadly with bacteria.Now, marketing lingo aside, how does this work as typical air fryer? It's still hard to fully accurately determine brownness/doneness, but does keep you from over-checking and slowing cooking.The double drawer and sheer size of this is, for me, a downside, as an Air Fryer isn't something I use everyday, or even every month. If your Air Fryer mileage is a lot higherâ€"say, you're using it to regularly supplement a bad apartment ovenâ€"you could very likely feel differently. It's fairly sleek looking and does fit underneath cabinets on the counter. A most productive way to extend the range of snacks, meals and eating experiences with family and friends.After just a day or two's practice we found we could make golden crispy roast potatoes and chips: perfect every time. Meat, fish and sausages are particularly easy - they are cooked without effort. The controls for tenperature, time, cooking methods, e.g. air fry, roast, bake, etc., are very straight forward; and the facility to switch on a light and look inside the baskets as things are cooking is most useful - particularly for new combinations of food. But, undoubtedly, the best thing is the taste and texture of the food. This air fryer is easy to use, easy to clean, no problems! Great.

So,this is my 3rd different air fryer so I have a bit of experience.The big selling point for me was the clear drawers and now I've had it a while I don't think I would go back to an oven that doesn't have them.The drawers are also a good size.Pretty easy to use once you get the hang of it.The only negative is you can't adjust the time and temp after starting cooking if using the sync finish setting but conversely on any other setting you can adjust everything,even stopping one drawer early while the other drawer continues to cook.Cooking times are very good,quicker than my previous air fryer.Drawers and grille plates are easy to clean.So on balance I would thoroughly recommend it,especially at the price I paid,which was with a discount voucher direct from Instant

Using the air fryer is a learning curve but I suggest you download parts of the manual which will give you suggested cooking times for meat, poultry, fish and vegetables. You should perform the test programme first. I'm afraid there is a bit of a whiff of burning plastic but not to worry it is not going to catch fire. I started cooking fish fingers by using the roast programme and they came out very crispy and tasty. I could have used the air mode. I then tried a baked potato in the second drawer but it came out under cooked and hardly baked. My fault. I should have used a different temperature and not wrapped the potato in foil as suggested in the ... I resisted buying an air fryer for so long. But after some research and reading reviews decided on the dual basket Instant Vortex. I love it. It's quite a big piece of kit on the kitchen workspace, but it doesn't look bad at all. The clear window at the front of the baskets allow you to make sure the food looks cooked. It's so quick and easy. Basically, anything that you do in the oven can be done in the air fryer. It's super easy to clean, and wipe down after use. I did buy some liners, which I'm hoping will help with cleaning. The cable is very short, and you need to ensure you have space at the back for the hot air vents. Apart from that its great. I would recommend this air fryer, and the Sync function is marvelous.
Its a good, versatile airfryer. I like that items can be cooked differently in each drawer, and you can see what is going on with the optional light, through the window. It tells you when it has completed the preheating, when to put the food in and when to turn it (if needed). GREAT! I did find that it was smelly for the first few uses, in spite of washing it out before use. It regularly sets off the smoke detector in the hall if I dont shut the kitchen door! Doesn't come with silicone baskets.

We had been debating about getting an air fryer for some time. The reviews on this one were good and we took the plunge. I have been astounded at just how much we have used it and how little I am now using my large oven, therefore saving on energy costs. I have invested in some liners which can be used in the dish washer. Food appears to be cooked on a lower heat and a little less cooking time. I am not one for fried foods and although chips come out so crispy it has a million other uses. My husband who doesn't cook made himself a great bread and butter pudding and has shown a lot of interest in it.
Really pleased with our new air fryer. We had a smaller basic one that we used a lot but needed something with more capacity/options. Love that I can cook separate foods in the drawers and synchronise the finish time, it's also easy to adjust time & temperature while you're cooking if things need tweaking! Only used air fry & bake so far but love it and use it multiple times a week. I trusted the Instant Pot brand as I've had the electric pressure cooker for a few years now. The air fryer has even more amazing skills that I am yet to experiment with.Very pleased
