Really no problem to fit the sleeve and the bearings with some decent grease. As far as weight is concerned, the assembly is part of a 14lb Trek and it will see a great deal of use once the summer comes.

This pack is great for converting your BB90 Bottom Bracket to accept Sram/GXP cranksets.Installed this on my Trek Madone to take a Sram Rival Crankset. Came with all parts; bearings, wavy washer, bb sleeve, spacer and external cover.Easy to fit, especially if you have a bearing remover and bearing press. Bearing press is essential to correctly install the new bearings.Smooth running as you would expect.

The BB in my Trek 9.6 elite was feeling a bit rough so after a bit of searching I came across this kit at Evans, my local store had stock so collected and fitted it myself in 5 minutes. I suppose compared to old style UN52 BB's and hollowtechs I've fitted this was quite expensive at £30 but it did the job and hopefully it will last well
The Truvativ Noir crankset on my 2010 Trek Fuel EX9.9 developed a creak, I realised there was some play and figured the bottom bracket needed replacing, an email to Trek tech support was quickly replied to informing me that the BB is a Trek part available from Trek dealers, found it on the Evans website, delivered efficiently by Evans as expected. Fitted and solved the problem.
Replacement for my worn bb bearings, easy installation and bearings seem smooth and good quality.
