Great value and phenomenal gaming for an i5, limited gains going higher than this. Going from a 8086k this has given me a small boost in FPS, but seems to have eliminate all the noticeable 1% that used to get, even in Mmo's like new world.

The product was packaged well and came very quickly. My only gripe is that the DPD courier does not ring the doorbell!!At the time of purchase there was a lot of speculation about the temperatures because the raptor lake CPUs run hot. I paired this with the deepcool ak620 and it has displayed temperatures 35 degrees and below. My previous PC was 8+ years old so I might just be amazed but everything run so fast and smooth.

With an AIO and a little undervolt the CPU temperature is around 50/55 max 65°C in gaming and 36/40 max 47°C normal browsing.Intesive work the temp go over 90 / 100 °C in cinebench r23.I came from an I7 8700k and the difference in performance is huge but I think for the next five generation the gap won't be the same. Are we topping the performance?

Perhaps the best CPU of 20222023. Very powerful with a decent price.- For some one who would like to use this CPU under Linux, but worried about the P-CoreE-Core schedulingThe scheduling already works with 5.15 kernel. For instance, I use it with Ubuntu 22.04 with HWE enabled. Have done some heavy computation and code compiling, no performance drop is observed.
Great performance but very power hungry. Make sure you double check your cooling solution before purchase. I sometimes use it as a space heater
Debated between this and a 12700k, boy am I glad I went for this one, undervolted to 1.097V at stock frequencies barely generates any heat, was able to overclock to 6Ghz with a 140mm AIO
Auto OC'd to 6.2Ghz out the gate on a 360 cooler, the value seemed too high at first. It was a stable overclock, but you'll pay a heat premium, about 50C idle.Dialed the OC back to defaults, Now power draw is 60W less, and idle temps sit around 30C. And still the 20 cores of the CPU help deliver astonishing perfomance in all tasks.
Runs fine with my basic AIO - was a bit cheaper then Ryzen and also has DDR5 support. Runs fine without overclocking now.
Pros: Probably the best gaming CPU at the time of buying.Cons: e-cores do draw a fair amount of power, and for certain workloads it may be worth pondering disabling them, or at least using a software solution to pin down CPU affinity. Not sure if Intel fixed their heatspreader issues, but after disabling the e-cores, this CPU runs cooler than my older i5-9600k.
It was a tough decision on which Gen 13 CPU to go with. This CPU is a good balance between affordability and performance. Have yet to find anything that I use that really pushes it. Very happy with this purchase.
