I've been a storage engineer for over 10 years. Unlike spinning hard drives there is a substantial technical difference between consumer SSD's and enterprise SSD's. The difference is significant in terms of reliability and endurance. Power fault protection being the most important. I've yet to loose a single Intel data grade SSD but have replaced dozens of consumer class SSDs. For small server or critical workstation the more expensive price of the data grade like these is more than worth it.
