If specified details do not matter, It is an OK purchase. However, the color whirl tube comes in two options with apparently the same order number, and what you receive may not be the one you thought you were getting. The one which attracted me into purchasing it was not the one I was shown and not the one I received. The color pattern does matter. I was immediately disappointed that I did not get the one I had preferred. In addition, the tube shown, and as advertised, was spoiled by large detailed permanent markings and instructions in several different languages on how to blow it up on about half of one side of the tube.

This was a gift for my hubby for use in a villa pool - we already had one bought in France years ago which is really good. This is nice and strong and it took his weight for floating about. DD3 had a donut ring from Primark which faded in the strong sunlight and was a very flimsy material - amazed at how it lasted for the 2 week holiday. I would give five stars apart from the fact that the images are misleading - once DD3 had inflated it there was horrendous warning safety printing all over the colours on a good third of the tube which spoils the whole effect - tbh I didn't know what half of the images referred to so effective warning - not. Recommend.

One of the most durable floats we've owned of the Intex series. We go floating 10+ times every floating season down the Edisto River in South Carolina, which isn't extremely rough on floats in terms of rocks or trees. It's actually in some cases been from the extreme heat causing floats to tear at the seams from excess heat which definitely can ruin a floating experience. However, with this set we have yet to have one overheat or rip at the seams. It is very comfortable to float in and have held for 2 years of floating now, we usually bring a few of these as backups just in case the main floats tear or rip as we know they will hold up. The other feature I love about these tubes is the 2nd fail-safe tube, we found out this works very well when one of our floaters ... MoreOne of the most durable floats we've owned of the Intex series. The 2nd (inner tube) was enough for the person to still remain afloat for the duration of the float. The only twos con I could give is the absence of netting and a headrest, those two additions would make this tube perfect. However, I'd still highly recommend these tubes to anyone looking for good backups or just a quality tube.

This tube is really big but doesn’t weigh too much. I bought 4 and have inflated 1 only. Unfortunately it has already developed 2 very small holes, so the material is not that tough. I managed to repair with the stick on repair patches, included, and it seems to have fixed them. The patch is clear, so hardly noticeable. I won’t be using the other 3 until August, so hopefully they are ok. You will need to buy a pump, due to the size you will need to have a lot of puff! I bought the max Pump from Amazon £25, which pumps it up in only 4-5 minutes. It is rechargeable and lasts 90 minutes. Also deflates. It does have a lot of warnings written on the side, but that’s the society that we now live in, we have all gone health and safety mad to the extreme!
My favorite pool toys ever. These are large and great for adults (even chubby ones). Great for around your waist, so you can rest your arms across the tube and dangle the rest of you in the water. ...The handles make it easy to hold the tube up to your butt, so it is positioned precisely where you want it, so you can then plop yourself on top of it by sitting down. :D While this maneuver is not particularly graceful, it is a highly effective method for getting just your backside wet. We bought four of these. We managed to puncture one of them, but the remaining three have held up very well. Well made, attractive and durable. While we haven't used ours for river tubing, they seem durable enough to work just fine.
Very good product. An adult could use it, a teenager can use it, Even my 4 yr old used it - he grabbed the two handles and put his feet up across the tube - so he was across the tube and inside it. He did not want to let it go or get out of the pool (which is a problem at the end of the day!) It has two chambers and you have to inflate them in order - first the small inner chamber, then the large outer chamber. The inner chamber is about 1/4 of the entire circle, and it has to be inflated slowly and not too tight. It almost acts as a pillow at one side, but it gets hidden inside once you inflate the outer chamber. And if the outer chamber ever gets a hole, the device should still float using the inner chamber. I was able to inflate the inner chamber by mouth, but we decided to use the small air pump for the outer chamber - just to save the effort. But you can do them both by mouth. Both chambers have the blowing tip/mouth piece with feature that requires you to squeeze the silicon tip in order to let the air in or out -- so you blow in as you squeeze the piece then release and get more air in your mouth and continue. It took me couple attempts to get this right but once you figure it out -- the process is easy as a breeze. Squeeze the piece with your teeth, blow, release, repeat. After I inflated this one, I had to do another floating device for the little kid - it was Intex also and by that time I was a pro in this, so it took me no time.
I got the 48" tube to use at the Jersey Shore. It was great! I used a hand pump to blow it up, you have to do one side first then the other. Super easy. I'm a fluffy gal and had no problems. I coasted on the waves and beached myself time and time again with great delight and ease. I never tipped over. Other smaller tubes were wiping out all around me but i stayed steady! Great tube. I deflated it with not problem either, just laid on it and pinched the tubes. Folded it back up and it's ready for my cruise! Yes, i am taking it on my cruise to use on the beaches. Why pay for rental? This will fit in my carry on. Get the hand pump with the tube attachment and you will love this thing! None of the paint rubbed off on me. But I've only used it on the ocean.
We used these tubes while on vacation in the lazy river. They worked perfect and stood up to a week of constant use. We plan to use them further in our pool next spring. The only major thing to note is that the item pictured was a different design than the one we were provided with. We were given ones with a gradient spectrum of colours. At least all three we ordered came with the same imaging and were recognizable from other peoples tubes.
This is a GREAT tube - if it would have been MADE CORRECTLY. Has 2 air chambers!! GREAT!! But.....both valves are on the SAME air chamber...... can't blow up the other chamber. On hold now to get a replacement..... would recommend it if it could be blown up the whole way!
