Amazing Dry Down

I tried this in store and wasn’t blown away by it. But when I got home later that evening and smelled my hand where I had sprayed it I was mesmerized by the dry down. Give this one a little time to do its work. In the scent notes it says “Intense Vanilla” and it is intense indeed. The dry down is absolutely delicious and lasts a good while. There are some fragrances that will fool you on the opening and pleasantly surprise you once it dries, this is one of those. The only reason I didn’t go back to buy it is bc I’ve accumulated quite a few vanilla fragrances and this would be overkill. But trust me you will smell GREAT with this one. Let's not beat around the bush here, Paco get bashed alot for shoddy releases and flankers that do not improve upon anything, arguably make things worse, and paco has deservedly come under some stick for it. Original Invictus, was a nice entry, nothing special, drys down to a nice soapy smell, like you had a decent bath. So how do you improve upon the original..... Turns out you don't, you just go completely mental. They have somehow managed to copy Hugo Boss The Scent Private Accord but it settles like vanilla chocolate and nutmeg and with a slight soapyness. Massive improvement over original invictus. Can't really compare it with million, elixir or lucky but personally I think it's better than those and about time as Paco need something wild out there. My New Favorite Fragrance

I usually wear a light cologne to work or special events, so I was excited when I received the sample of Invictus Victory by Paco Rabane. I tend to use colognes with a very masculine, woodsy scent, so this is in line with what I am used to. This is a very spicy fragrance. It has a black pepper scent and I can detect traces of citrus, almost like a yuzu or maybe a calamondin orange. There are also hints of an incense that I’ve smelled before, (possibly sage) but I cannot tell what it is. The combination is very pleasant. This cologne is more intense than what I usually wear, so I only need one spray on my neck, each of my wrists, and my chest. This lasts me through my work day or whatever formal event I am attending. Overall, I am pleased with this product.
