I purchased the ION622 at the suggestion of my vet when we were trying to clear up my cat's allergies, which we suspect started when a kitchen reno released nasty things into the environment. Turns out, the dampness in my apartment was much higher than I'd known. I use this every day, moving it from room to room . The cat's doing better, the apartment air feels better, and my clothes are drying faster this winter. Highly recommended.

Have been running this in a basement that always has high humidity. This thing has been great. It's isn't loud at all, forget it's on most of the time. And boy does it work. Some reviews online aren't great, but these people must have this thing in a non-humid area. After only a couple of hours, and the unit's tank is full and I have to empty it. Definitely recommended. Wish they made an even bigger version.

This appliance has really helped to reduce the moisture in the air and lessen allergies and asthma symptoms. It’s smaller than the traditional dehumidifier i see in retail stores. My favourite thing about it is that it tells you how much humidity there is in the room!
This dehumidifier works well in a smaller room to keep away moisture. Handy when laundry needs a little more drying. Continuous drainage option is good so I don’t need to empty the tank often. Digital hydrometer displays the humidity level and is adjustable.
We are using this little beast during wet season in Adelaide. So far the expectations have met and you can really feel the change in the air! From what we have seen so far the temperature operation for optimal results doesn't really matter! I think it can perform in winter and summer condition! Defo not a disappointed customer!
I love it! I bought mine second hand and on the first day it removed 6 Litres of water from my bedroom alone. I went from 94% humidity to a fresh and clean 74% over the day. I have ordered another 2 as my whole hours is around 92% humidity and everything is going mouldy and feels wet and disgusting. Yes it makes noise but it has a compressor.. and compressors make noise.. its not a problem for me.
This is lighter, has a narrow profile and seems more powerful than my previous dehumidifier. It's more noisy though. We have a installed a hose to drain it so we can leave it on and don't have to empty the reservoir constantly. It switches off when it gets to the desired humidity level in the room, then starts up again when the humidity rises, so it kind of looks after itself.
I bought this dehumidifier a few weeks ago and received it from Kogan promptly. It does a great job reducing humidity in a small/medium room. So far it has reduced the amount of mould and mildew I used to get on the walls. Should have purchased this sooner!Apparently this is a compressor dehumidifier which works better in warmer temperatures. I did not know that as it did not specify on the website. However I have been using it for about 2 weeks now. After about 4 hours the tank is nearly full with water. I’m quite happy with this product!
Thought people might be looking for a dehumidifier now (march 2022). Bought a ION 622 in July 18 it has worked very well for us. The last 3 weeks it has worked constantly when we've had power(we even ran it on a genset,its that important to us to keep mould out)only stopping when its full or has reached set levels. Cant fault this unit, you can hear it but its not roaring,it might be a little loud when it stops but again not over bearing.
