I read through so many reviews for hair removal machines but this one caught my attention as it has great reviews and good price. I decided to purchase it and have been using for the past two months. I used it on my legs, bikini lines, and armpits. I started at level 5 but then increased to 9 as my pain tolerance increased. Right now, I don't feel any pain other than a warm feeling to the touch. I noticed the hair growth took longer to grow back. I usually have to shave every 3 days, but now at 5 days in I still don't need to shave yet. As stated in the manual it takes 2-6 months for the hair to be completely removed so I will have to wait a bit longer to see the full effect. This machine is easy to use. Each time a follicle is treated, the chance that it will be permanently destroyed goes up. Now, the light is absorbed more by darker colors, so if you have very dark hair, and that hair is in a growth phase, you stand a better chance of this working. The lighter your hair, the less well this sort of treatment works. And follicles have cycles, so with every treatment, some will be in growth cycles where there's a hair to gather that energy and some won't be. What's unique is that there are two extra levels of treatment you don't normally see. In addition to hair removal, there are also settings to stimulate collagen production (which keeps skin looking youthful) and to kill acne-causing bacteria. Do they work? I couldn't say; I don't have acne and I've not seen any skin tightening on my legs yet - but maybe! It does, however, work for hair removal.The machine powers up quickly, is easy to control, and equally simple to use. In manual mode, you need to pull the trigger for the light to "fire." That's great for your underarms and face because you want that amount of control. With legs, though, you're covering a lot of acreage and your finger would get tired. Happily, there's also an automatic mode so that, each time the head comes in contact with your skin, it will fire my itself. I can do both legs, front and back, in about 10-15 minutes.Be sure to use the included sunglasses (or your own) to protect your eyes, and always shave first to avoid a nasty burnt hair smell. Treat once a week for about 3-4 months, and then (if you want to) you can drop back to every other week (or adjust as needed). I do think that it's something you need to keep up with probably forever - because sometimes treatment only slows down growth for some follicles. If you keep treating on an ongoing basis, though, you'll find fewer and fewer hairs that need to be shaved or plucked out.

Good thing I started this before all my hair turned grey!If you are buying this for the skincare lights, so far all I can report is that it doesn't hurt to use! It sounds like a helpful thing for scars (which I have many of, so I'll be trying that light!), fading dark spots, speeding up collagen production, etc, etc, etc.! You have to avoid tattoos, but that isn't hard because the light goes flush to your skin, and is such a small area. If it really does what it claims for skin, this is a great bargain!It comes with a good manual, a nice long (complete) power cord, light-protecting goggles, even a razor. The box is sturdy and is plain white if you don't put the slide-off information cover back on, but for the money I'd think it should have at least a semi-nice case for it like my other had. This product is slick. It looks way more expensive than the price tag says. Best part is I was able to get rid of annoying chest hair I have been shaving off for years. So many razors have been purchased and thrown away. The product is simple to use and make sure you have it on the correct setting. I of course don’t usually read instructions and had the setting on the incorrect one. After a couple times of use the hair on my chest stopped showing up. MAGIC! I was skeptical, but I'm really pleased with the results.About me: I have PCOS and am perimenopausal. I have had a few stubborn thick, dark hairs on my inner thighs for years, that I kept having to pluck or wax. As I've moved into my 40s, more hairs kept growing in and I was getting tired of having to wax, and deal with pain and skin irritation, or plucking, and dealing with ingrown hairs. It comes with goggles, shaver, adapters, and instructions, so I could use it immediately without buying anything else. It is able to send lasers for hair removal. I will recommend this device to my friends and families. It's super easy to hold and use. Surprisingly, it not only has the hair removing mode but also the modes for skin care. Couldn't love it more. It is definitely worth the money!
