I Like these as I can work in them and hold onto things easily. when working in most temperatures above 20 my hands are comfortable. I only give a 4 star as I prefer the Hi vis colors that make them easier to see when I set them down for some reason.

Ironclad won my product comparison trials over the last 3 years. I bought two pair from each brand that are "out there" and used them to failure. These Ironclad General Utility, and their Heavy Duty, lasted the best and were the most comfortable. The General Utility gloves are my hot / summer glove for misc. work. When I have demanding tasks with materials that can cut / puncture / wound me, I grab the Heavy Duty gloves. That's it. It's that simple. Sizes seem true to label; I have a large hand and the Large gloves fit perfect. Prices are competitive; these may not be the cheapest, but they are worth their price.

This is my third pair, and they work as hard as I do. Velcro cuffs help keep dirt and stuff out of gloves. Fingers of gloves allow for touchscreen use without doffing.

Very comfortable outdoors in hot weather. Keeps a good grip even when sweaty. They protect my hands from everything except the sharpest thorns.

I have several ...
31 July 2016

I have several pairs of these gloves for Home use as well as a pair for work. These are the best fitting gloves I have ever owned, they offer me a lot of protection, they keep my hands relatively cool in the summer as well as allow me to do intricate work in my job on the flight line. They just reciently wore a hole or 2 in the finger, but this was after owning them for around 3 years. I tried the youngstown brand, but was just not satisified with the fit, so I have ordered Ironclad replacements for my wornout ones. Great gloves. 5 Stars.

Great gloves. Misleading description. 2 gloves / 1 pair not 2 pair as description appears to state. Bad supplier!

Nice Gloves
7 November 2020

I am a Machinist and work with sharp corners on material and coolant. Every glove I've bought b4 hasn't made it through more then a couple shifts. These gloves have already held up longer then any other mechanic gloves I purchased. I am only comparing gloves for Machinist work not auto mechanic work etc.

Tear in finger after 1 week
21 March 2018

Been using for a week. These are soft gloves if you plan on working with a hand drill the screws will catch the screws and tear the fingers immediately. Much more durable gloves on the market for the same price.

Trial and Error

I do a lot of things with my hands and go through even the toughest of gloves easily in 2-4 weeks, and these aren't your standard work gloves, but double reinforced top of the line gloves. To say I was impressed with Ironclad gloves would be an understatement. I got two pairs, one for home projects, and one set for working on my Jeep. I put those glove through the ringer with multiple washings, weld spatter, and even had the one pair save my hands from a 4 1/2 grind slip and hit my hand with a cutting wheel. Tore the glove, but not a nick on my hand. 3-4 months later they finally wore out, but costing half what I usually pay for gloves, they have a customer for life.
