Here's the one that started it all! The original Nuit d'Issey is a warm spicey, smoky, woody, leather fragrance. It starts off citrusy and spicy but doesn't last long as it becomes woody and smoky with some leather tones. As it starts to dry down the incense, tonka and patchouli begin to shine. I love Issey Miyake as a brand as I have many of their fragrances and most are brilliant, especially the original Issey Miyake L'Eau d'Issey Pour Homme and Pour Homme Intense as well as many of their summer fragrances.Nuit D'Issey was a blind purchase as it was on special offer and no time time to test a sample. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. This does not smell particularly nice at all - vey non-descript and the projection and silage is very poor. I like fragrances that last but this one barely lasts an hour, so longevity is a big negative point. Will use it for everyday to use up the bottle and will not be buying again.

I was not a fan of this one from Issey Miyake at all. I didn’t like the fruity notes because they made it off putting. The citruses smelled like burnt citrus, the vetiver and tonka bean I feel don’t be long in this scent. It doesn’t round out the citrus notes the right way unfortunately. If it was fresh fruits and leather I think that would’ve worked better. Glad I got rid of it honestly! Definitely would recommend sampling first if you think this is one you’re interested in!

Had this for about 5 weeks now and I must say when it arrived and I sprayed for the first time I did not like it, I am 30 years old and thought it was a little oriental for my nose. After spraying a few more times I was addicted to the scent, it's such a masculine fragrance, iv got around £2000 worth of aftershave sat on my dresser and this is one of the cheapest fragrances I have and I rate it in my top 10. I would not advise younger males under 25 to buy this as it's an older smell but by no means an old man's fragrance. I have allready had a few compliments from females on this fragrance and the general consensus seems to be that it is a masculine seductive evening fragrance.
