I got to try this after all the hype and I'm glad I did. When I first used this, I was immediately displeased. It is an incredibly thick product that seems borderline waxy/shiny in nature. It offers medium-high coverage that (thankfully) isn't mask-like at all and sets well with a powder. It doesn't dry out my undereye area and seems to stay put, which is nice. Using this concealer takes a bit more work than my favourite twist-tube wand-applicator concealers, which is why I'm deducting one star. But it's still a solid choice and definitely exceeds its first impression.

Doesn't work for me

A friend 10 years older said it doesn't settle in creases or fine lines and it's perfect. The first time I used it I used way too much and that definitely makes it look terrible. But I used much less the next time. I just applied a few tiny dots under my eyes and blended them with a concealer brush. I found blending to be difficult. It started separating while blending. It settled into creases immediately. I set with a light dusting of setting powder but it didn't stop it from separating and creasing more within a hour. Unfortunately I have dark circles under my eyes from thin skin and it's hereditary. So I have to have a concealer. No matter what I tried this always creased badly. I've used it more than 20 times and after a couple hours it looks awful. I've given up and stopped trying to use it. However this is not the only concealer that creases. That's a common problem. I will say the coverage is good. It did cover my dark circles. Also I have small broken capillaries around my nostrils and used it on them and it separated immediately after putting my powder foundation on. I just can't get it to work for me. It seems to work great for others. I'm not sure if it's user error on my part or if it just doesn't work with my skin or if it's just not good for fine lines.

The under eye concealers that have worked better for me are : Favorite - Mac Prolongwear concealer (hidden gem that no one seems to mention for under eye.. it’s thin but somehow covers really well) and I’ve been using it for over 10 years. a2nd favorite is Hourglass Vanish concealer which is pretty good coverage (not the best with powder on top as it will look a bit drier so I don’t add much powder). Nars radiant concealer is decent as well for coverage. This one by It cosmetics will be going back. The only positive was that it didn’t look super thick.. even when I attempted to add a few layers. So in my opinion this has moderate coverage. Maybe if you don’t have super dark under eye circles and just need a little coverage and brightness this will work for you. For my fellow ladies with dark under eye circles I would not recommend.

I have to say I rarely leave reviews. However, after basically spending what seems like a months mortgage on various concealers over the years (I have tried all of the ones commonly on ‘top 10s’) this is by far the best. I have really bad dark circles and nothing covers these bad boys so well. Sick of these beauty gurus ‘covering’ dark circles that you can hardly see on TikTok and the like - trust me, mine look like I’ve been punched by Mike Tyson in a bad mood. My holy grail- 21 Medium Tan

My first IT concealer was in 20 Medium which i bought a year ago. The SA recommended this shade. As i have not tried before i got the travel / mini size. Coverage was good. However the shade turned out too light for me in summer months and instead of covering my dark circles it gave a greyish color. Argh. After finishing it tried a drugstore brand which made me broke out repeatedly at both my temples, i decided to return to IT. This time, i went for a slightly darker shade in 21 Medium Tan. Voila. Works like a dream this time. No more greyish undertones, covers nicely. Price point a bit steep but hey, at least it works and u just need a wee bit each time so it should last.
