Installed easily, powered up and does the expected thing. As it runs in parallel with existing DC charging system and replaces both solar and alternator power sources needed to install blocking diodes on both solar panels. Found runaway discharge power via DCDC converter under specific load scenarios.Probably should be mentioned in installation docs.

Really well made and robust.Once I got my head around how it needs to be wired, it works as expected. The normally excellent tech help were a bit confused when I asked how to integrate it with an ACDC charger in our caravan.Maybe I didn't explain myself properly, but I did send a proposed wiring diagram.I did eventually get a reply, which was too little too late, but it's still a great product handled by a brilliant bunch of people.I take 50 percent of the blame for not understanding how it works, but 50 percent also goes to them for, IMHO,a not very comprehensive instruction manual. But buying stuff from them is a satisfying experience.

I have conveniently located the charger very close to my new 120 Lithium Battery it keeps it charged at 13.8 volts .Via the solar panels i have atop of my Ranger , also i ran the wiring kit ( ITECH ) from engine battery to the charger . very happy with the advice i received from the crew at Itech .It will run my 75 litre Fridge when i am on my trek across the Simpson Desert next week . regards Steve
