I have had a cheapo airbrush which lasted 12 mths. Wife insisted I get a good quality one. Did a lot of research. Tossed up between the HP CPlus and the Eclipse. Both Iwata but went with the CPlus. Sprays beautifully, easy to clean. Highly recommend.

I purchased this airbrush for my husband who does taxidermy. He absolutely loves it. I bought him the one that has the glass bottle in the bottom which is very practical to change colors with out having to clean the gun every time, it really helps him when doing habitats. Also he loves the control it gives to do the finest mist to the thicker mists. Blick offered the best service it got here soooo fast and no problems with ordering. The one thing I wish that it came with is it's own plastic case instead of the cardboard one but for the quality I figured he can buy one later.

Everything about this airbrush says quality. Excellent design, quality materials, Smooth easy operation and very, very accurate and durable. I have used most brands of air brush from very old and basic to some of the most expensive out there. The Iwata HP-C plus is one of my all time favorites. You can spend more on a High end euro-model but you won't get a better value in an airbrush.
Absolutely first class airbrush. Very good quality, well constructed. Easy to operate. Comes with two types of hose coupling so should fit any compressor. My airbrushing techniques are not the best, but this airbrush seems idiot proof and has improved my final product immensely. Well recommended.
HPC+ airbrush is great. An option to install a softer air valve spring so that it requires less downwards finger pressure to operate the air valve while controlling the paint flow would be nice less hand fatigue. Maple Airbrush shipping is super quick. Thanks so much. I'll be back.

I've used an Iwata Eclipse for 10 years. The Iwata HP-Plus is a definite upgrade. The design of the cup is better- it is more like a funnel at the bottom so the paint flows a little better. Mostly though it makes it easier to clean and 100% of the paint is used. On my Eclipse there occasionally seemed to be a very small amount left. I like the feature of being able to limit the pull back of the trigger for fine lines. The crown is also a better design with less overspray and again is easier to clean. I also like the feel of the trigger which is two parts and is heavier. I maybe over exaggerating the differences since my Eclipse needed two seals, a new needle and was 10 years old. But this is definitely easier to clean and offers more control.
I started doing car model kits with a grex airbrush I have to say the quality control is very bad , there was always something wrong with the parts and service.But when I used the Iwat airbrush the first seconds I used it I new it was going to be fantastic and it is this airbrush outperforms in all ways my grex .i am very happy and can’t wait to to start some new projets .
What can really be said? Iwata simply does not make a bad product. The airbrush is fantastic.Donna at maple is great as well. Even though I'm not in Edmonton the wait for the mail is worth it to deal with a business that actually has items in stock. She is more than happy to answer any questions and the items are sent properly.
