The desk was straightforward to assemble. The desk ideally should face against a wall so the gloss parts can be featured. The parts that are gloss are the table top, sides and faces of the drawers. When presented this way (as in the pictures) it looks great. I intend to sit in front of a window with my back against the window so the other side of the desk (technically the front) is what you see when walking into the room and this part is mostly made up of chipboard painted white. Pity they didn't keep the gloss theme going here because it lets the desk down and hence only 4 stars.

This desk is so big! so many out there are teeny tiny, this is perfect for spreading out with textbooks everywhere, fits a 27" computer comfortably.Didn't have to buy a filling cabinet either, has one, plus a normal drawer and shelves in the cupboard.Not TOO painful to put together either. Love it.

The Burrows Scarborough desk is a good value good quality desk if you want a computer desk or you need it as a small office desk. I use it for my computing centre with a large printer and laptop easily accommodated. The drawers on one side and the shelves on the other are convenient and easy to use. The desk took about two hours to put together but I was a little methodical about doing it so a shorter time could probably be achieved.

We bought two of these in lockdown without seeing them - they are amazing! Great size, storage and look fantastic!
