Before getting the Jabra Evolve2 75s, I would constantly switch between my Sony WH1000-XM4 headset and my Jabra Evolve 75s in the office. The former was more comfortable for prolonged music listening while in deep flow and had better noise cancellation, but was terrible for calls in a noisy office as the mics picked up all the conversations around me except the one that I was trying to have. The latter was great for conference calls, but got a bit uncomfortable to wear for extended periods of time. Switching between the two headsets when I received impromptu calls always involved fun charades of me holding up my finger and miming "one minute please" as I turned off one device and let the other connect via Bluetooth, which could take up to 10 to 15 seconds. This ... MoreBefore getting the Jabra Evolve2 75s, I would constantly switch between my Sony WH1000-XM4 headset and my Jabra Evolve 75s in the office. The ANC keeps me tightly ensconced in my cocoon of productivity until I make visual contact with colleagues, the boom mic isolates my voice for conference calls flawlessly, and with Microsoft Teams integration, I only need to lower my mic for it to switch from my music to the call. In comparison to the Sony XM4s, I found this headset better at prioritising which app/function I needed at the moment, and the auto-pause and play feature when I put down the headset worked much more often for me.Rather than getting a high-end personal headset and a high-end professional headset, I definitely would recommend getting this one instead to serve both use cases.

Me and my Evolve2's have known each other for about 2 years now. Not gonna lie, it hasn't always been easy. You'd think our relationship would be smooth going - I'd put on the headset and it sends sweet sounds into my ears and also makes me sound like a smooth talker with the swing arm mic...while the mic is excellent for calls, everyone hears me clearly, sometimes the switch between laptop and mobile isn't so neatly done. For example, if I'm on a google chat meeting and a call comes in on my mobile device, it'll cut me out of my meeting to prioritize the ringing phone. There's no way to set channel priority. Not cool. As for the sound, I've played around with the EQ settings and the bass is still not that great although it's awesome in the higher ranges. As for the sound, I've played around with the EQ settings and the bass is still not that great although it's awesome in the higher ranges. Since this is an over the ear headset, and has active noise cancelling, I can focus pretty well with them on. Too well actually, others have been able to sneak up on me and scare the daylights out of me so unless I'm peacefully by myself, I tend to half cover my ears so that I can hear who I'm about to counter-attack and also hear myself talking to monitor my speaking volume. Overall, I love this headset but the one thing I wish it would allow me to do is replace the stock ear cushions. The original ear cushions snap off and on and are soft but not cushy so trying to find a 3rd party upgrade hasn't been easy due to fit alone. So after all that I've said, if I can't upgrade it to make them more comfortable, I'm upgrading it altogether. Sorry Evolve2, it was nice to have known ya.

This is probably a defective unit but Headset Advisor Support was amazing. I am glad I bought it here at HeadsetAdvisor.Second good thing is the quality is sound is amazing and ANC for speakers is also good. Now the cons: (1) The main reason I bought this Headset was for the Mic's noise cancellation. I don't want my work colleagues to put up with all the noises at end/home like Baby screams, TV in the living room, Street Cars, Wife's phone calls, even my key board or washroom faucets etc but it failed miserably. They can hear everything from my side and even worse is my voice was so bad that they can't understand at all. I really hope it's faulty unit and Headset Advisor is planning to replace it. (2) When placed on the neck the headset ear cushions are pointed outwards, What a weird design. Come-on Jabra, no one pointed this out when you were designing this? (3) Headset is not stable on my head. It can easily fall when your head is not straight. I believe this is the issue with all on-ear headset as compared to over the ear ones.Anyway, this is really bad experience but my cheap TechNet Headset which was reviewed by Drew is working like a charm.

We are currently looking for open office headphones that will block out loud projectors in our company. We watched many videos by the Headset Advisor and picked these to start with. They are incredibly comfortable, and make the audio on the users' computer very clear and crisp. However, they are still picking up and accentuating our loud talkers in the office. We have reached out to customer service to return and try a different set, but customer service has been lack-luster at getting back to us or being helpful. This headset lost a star for not combatting the background noise, and another star for lack of customer support. I had recently taken a position with a company that uses the MS TEAMS platform for a great deal of their in-house training and meeting sessions as well as lots of conference calls. I could tell very early on that a good headset was going to be very helpful during those office activities. Since I had already owned a set of Jabra earbuds, I was leaning toward the Jabra Evolve2 85 headsets, but given their price tag, I wasnât comfortable âtrying them outâ and potentially not finding them adequate for my needs. I did a lot of research on them and in that process I found headset advisor. No regrets and I will always recommend them to friends and colleagues.
Pros: great mic qualityâŚWhen you power them on, youâre informed of battery status (high, med., low)comfortable over-ear headphonesâŚeasy to fold-up micâŚgreat anc in the earphonesCan be used via blue-tooth or plugged directly into your phone/computerCons: âonâear headphones might not fit as secure as âoverâearwhen the mic-boom is down, it feels like it should kind of lock-in to place, but it feels a little lose. When talking into the mic, it sounds like there might be a slight amount of background white-noise.Conclusion: great mic quality, versatile, light-weight. These are neck-and-neck with the Orosound Tilde Pro.
Like many of the reviews on the Headset Advisor site for the Jabra Evolve2-75. I am very pleased with the quality and performance of this headset after only 3 weeks of use. The overall build seems to be of quality with user comfort top of mind. It's been some time since I have used over-the-ear headphones, so the transition and feel from that of in ear buds took a few days to get used to. The ANC feature works exceptionally well, with my online contacts confirming minimal background noise, as well as great mic voice pick up and clarity. I also use the headset for listening to music via Spotify, while the sound quality and comfort remain great, I would like to have a slightly higher volume level setting permitted than my voice calls. Thanks to the Headset Advisor team and site, keep up the great work! Ps. I ordered the magnetic charging stand also, a great add-on for an efficient and clean workspace.
Things I like:- Busy light indicates when I'm in a call or a meeting so my wife knows not to disturb me.- ANC is good, I had Bose QC35 before and I honestly did not notice a difference.- Retractable mic boom arm. It allows the speech to be a lot clearer than mics in the headphones themselves, plus it allows me to use these headphones outside. I even used them on a plane once and it was a great experience overall.- Hear-through mode is useful, used it a lot during traveling and while working when I need to hear my surroundings.- Sound quality is good. Now the things I don't like:- Mode switching button always cycles ANC / Off / Hear-through. So in order to go from ANC to Hear-through (the most often use case) two button presses are required. I would much rather prefer this to be configurable to remove Off from this list as I never had a use for this mode.- During a call the mode switches to Off automatically so to get ANC back I have to press the mode switch button. Also, during calls the list of modes change to Off / ANC with no Hear-though option. Weird.- iOS app is unreliable. Most of the time it can't detect the headset while it is paired and connected to the phone. All it shows is "Welcome back. Turn on and connect your device."- There is a weird bug when using the headphones with the charging stand. I usually turn the headset off at the end of the day and put them on the stand. When I take them from the stand the next day and turn them on, there is a 50/50 chance they would become unresponsive and won't connect to anything (phone, dongle) unless I power cycle them. It sounds like they go into a weird semi-on state when they will announce "Battery high" immediately after I put them on my head without me even touching the on/off switch. And then when I flick the switch to On I hear "No device connected". I tried several Evolve2 85 headsets on the latest firmware (1.3.8) and all of them exhibit the same issue. It is not consistent so sometimes it only happens once a week - and sometimes it happens every day. Very confusing.- Jabra Link 380 dongle has a very aggressive power-saving feature that switches off audio streaming if it detects silence for more than 1-1.5 seconds, and it takes half a second to wake up after it detects audio again. As a result, any tutorial/video that has silent parts in between sentences becomes very painful to listen to, with constant fade-ins and lost words.- The latest firmware update was in December 17, 2020. It looks like this product was abandoned.
I have had very good experiences with other Jabra headsets in the past, but this product was different. Got a first pair and my voice kept floating in and out during meetings like I was increasing and decreasing volume. Performed trouble shooting with expert support until it was deemed a defective headset. Got a new pair had same problems. Looking online, others are experiencing this as well. Also, mic is hidden but requires you to grab the tip to pull it down from mute. People stated they could always hear when I was muting and unmuting with the mic position. Returning this for a different product.
There are very few products I could possibly say were worth a 12-week wait, but the Jabra Evolve 2 75 is one of them. I was inspired to order one by a combination of experience with a much cheaper Jabra corded product (the Evolve 20), excellent online reviews, and the audio comparison with other SKUs done by Headset Advisor on their YouTube channel. The minute I ordered it, however, it went out of stock. But it did finally arrive 2 weeks ago, and my experience is uniformly positive. The headset is extremely comfortable even for me (I have a very large head), the sound and mix are excellent, and the adaptive noise cancellation is much more than adequate for a general office setting. Iâm not sure I really believe the advertised battery life, but that is also much more than adequate for an office. As far as I can tell, most people should be either buying something really cheap (they just donât use it enough), identically the Apple AirPods Pro (and maybe a decent mic) or the tip of the line Jabra in whatever form factor you like best. The mic is not perfect, but it is in the top 5-10% of your Zoom calls, and works even when you are away from your desk. If you really are podcasting, Iâm sure you would prefer a dedicated and better mic, but for most other people Iâm really not sure. And versatility is why this is actually worth waiting and paying for. It would be a steal for a real sale price, which weâll only see when they can keep the SKU in stock.
