It is exactly what I needed - small, quiet, great sound and super affordable. My only complaint is the battery life. It probably gets about 3 hours of life on a full charge, which isn’t great, but given its size it’s understandable. I LOVE this speaker!! my boyfriend had brought this for me and i take it EVERYWHERE with me! super lighweight and honestly packs a punch!! I love that i can use an aux to use as a speaker for my monitor while i game or I bluetooth to it so i can listen to music while i shower! It is waterproof and it comes with the charging cord minus the charger box for the speaker! They are currently listed on Amazon for $22.99 which is a STEAL! I had used this speaker for almost a whole week right out of the box before i needed to charge it, so i can say battery life is very good and it doesn’t take longer than 10 mins for it to be fully charged!!

If you do the opposite and have the Go 2 volume low, and try to turn to volume up high on your phone, the sound won't be as full.The speaker volume is loud enough that without maxing out the volume on the Go 2 and phone, you can easily use it as a car speaker. It can get that loud and it's clear and decent for that use as well as on a bicycle.Reason for the 4 star rather than 5 star rating?Three reasons.1. The signature "power on" and "power off" sound is unique to the JBL portable speakers, so once you've heard one, you'll recognize all the others based on this alone. That said, I do wish there was a way to disable the sound - it's loud if you turn on/off the speaker in quiet place.2. JBL makes better, bigger, more expensive portable speakers like the Flip, which sounds seriously good at high volumes. I know - price vs performance. The Go 2 is nice, the Flip is awesome, so that's the main difference in star ratings.3. No way to confirm for sure since there's no documentation on it that I can find, but the Go 2 doesn't support the HiRes Bluetooth transfer formats like LDAC or aptX HD for the highest quality audio playback.Overall, a great portable speaker that fits a pant pocket due to the slim rectangular design and works great for the intended use - a tiny speaker that can make any laptop or phone sound much louder and better.

Cannot pair 2 or more together

Very surprised that you cannot pair 2 or more of these together. My presumption was that I would be able to at the price point and since it is JBL/Harmon. I bought 2 onn speakers at my local WalMart for $24.00 and they can pair. The onn speakers were roughly half the price of these and have superior sound. Richer depth and bass. I paired the onn speakers and connected via bluetooth to my TV and they sound great. The only pluses for the JBLs are the small size and that you can take a phone call. Other than that, make sure whatever you purchase can at least pair. I will keep one of the JBLs in my bathroom and the other in the garage. Was hoping to pair them and have them in the garage.

Great Mini Speaker

I purchased this product a few weeks ago. My daughter has the JBL Flip 5 for college and that is a phenomenal product. I needed something smaller just to take from room to room. The Go 2 is better than expected. I has great sound quality and a good range. It doesn't have as much bass as I would like but it's more than enough. I use the speaker a lot during the day so it only last about 3.5-4 hours for me. I wish it lasted a little longer. It portable and fits into a backpack, a tote, or even a small purse. I love it - it's just what I needed.

JBL go to is a great compact portable speaker that is shockingly loud for its size. Perfect desktop speaker. Also makes a great shower speaker.. not in the shower you lunatics. Just in case somebody was going to attach it to the loofah or something just to really test out the waterproof feature. Don't take it in the shower with you, that shouldn't have to be said but I'll say it anyway. I meant it's a good bathroom speaker. My favorite small speaker, excellent mid-range!

I haven’t found a speaker this size that has a better mid-range. I’ve tried many others, even the JBL Go 3, the JBL Clip 4… but this one always wins out. Whatever driver they put in this speaker is quite frankly the best they could’ve put in for watching shows and movies. Other speakers can get loud, but the balance always favors bass and the lower end over the mid-range. The result is the drowning out of vocals even at high volume. But not this one. The JBL Go 2 is actually backwards- the bass is there but not overpowering, and the mids are extremely strong. That’s what makes this the ideal speaker for watching shows and videos with vocals. Small and cheap but extremely powerful

This little speaker has been a huge surprise. I wasn’t expecting much considering the price but I was wrong because the is little guy performs better than speakers I’ve paid $40 or more for. The sound it delivers is smooth and clear and crisp and it has enough bass to give that desired thumping effect without shaking or cracking. All in all I would absolutely recommend this speaker to anyone in need of a Bluetooth speaker. I would also gladly purchase this speaker again without hesitation. It packs a powerful punch especially for the price.
