JBL - Go 2 Portable Bluetooth Speaker - Black

Great crisp sound. Wish the buttons were more conspicuous for those of us with farsightedness. Also, wish it had a strap or clip to complement its portability. Since it's slightly hefty it's easy to slip out of one's hand. Still the sound is beautiful. I compared it with my Anker Soundcore 2 and Altec Lansing H20 2 and the sound is much more clear and there's no degradation at max volume or bass. May upgrade to Go 3 as it has strap.

I LOVE this speaker!! my boyfriend had brought this for me and i take it EVERYWHERE with me! super lighweight and honestly packs a punch!! I love that i can use an aux to use as a speaker for my monitor while i game or I bluetooth to it so i can listen to music while i shower! It is waterproof and it comes with the charging cord minus the charger box for the speaker! They are currently listed on Amazon for $22.99 which is a STEAL! I had used this speaker for almost a whole week right out of the box before i needed to charge it, so i can say battery life is very good and it doesn’t take longer than 10 mins for it to be fully charged!!

This is the absolute best speaker ever! I have had it for some time now and I love it soooo much. The volume gets nicely loud and you can carry the speaker everywhere because it has the perfect size, I enjoy that you can control it perfectly with the buttons and it's so easy to use, the battery lasts a long time and it's great that the speaker is waterproof. I recommend it because it has great resistance and it's great value, amazing quality and the sounds are excellently transmited, music, movie or anything you want to hear, plus is really easy to connect it to your device

A solid $20-30 range bluetooth portable speaker

Bought this on Thanksgiving sale, so got a great deal on it. The speaker often goes on sale here and there, and for that price range, it's a solid bluetooth speaker to pair with your phone to get louder output. The pairing is easy, the controls are simple and intuitive, so you really don't need to read the manual at all to figure it out.Very nice colors, and it's hard to pick just one. If you do the opposite and have the Go 2 volume low, and try to turn to volume up high on your phone, the sound won't be as full.The speaker volume is loud enough that without maxing out the volume on the Go 2 and phone, you can easily use it as a car speaker. It can get that loud and it's clear and decent for that use as well as on a bicycle.Reason for the 4 star rather than 5 star rating?Three reasons.1. The signature "power on" and "power off" sound is unique to the JBL portable speakers, so once you've heard one, you'll recognize all the others based on this alone. That said, I do wish there was a way to disable the sound - it's loud if you turn on/off the speaker in quiet place.2. JBL makes better, bigger, more expensive portable speakers like the Flip, which sounds seriously good at high volumes. I know - price vs performance. The Go 2 is nice, the Flip is awesome, so that's the main difference in star ratings.3. No way to confirm for sure since there's no documentation on it that I can find, but the Go 2 doesn't support the HiRes Bluetooth transfer formats like LDAC or aptX HD for the highest quality audio playback.Overall, a great portable speaker that fits a pant pocket due to the slim rectangular design and works great for the intended use - a tiny speaker that can make any laptop or phone sound much louder and better.

Cannot pair 2 or more together

Very surprised that you cannot pair 2 or more of these together. My presumption was that I would be able to at the price point and since it is JBL/Harmon. I bought 2 onn speakers at my local WalMart for $24.00 and they can pair. The onn speakers were roughly half the price of these and have superior sound. Richer depth and bass. I paired the onn speakers and connected via bluetooth to my TV and they sound great. The only pluses for the JBLs are the small size and that you can take a phone call. Other than that, make sure whatever you purchase can at least pair. I will keep one of the JBLs in my bathroom and the other in the garage. Was hoping to pair them and have them in the garage.

JBL go to is a great compact portable speaker that is shockingly loud for its size. Perfect desktop speaker. Also makes a great shower speaker.. not in the shower you lunatics. Just in case somebody was going to attach it to the loofah or something just to really test out the waterproof feature. Cuz I've seen some people do some ridiculous things when the speaker says waterproof and then they wonder why it breaks a month later. Don't take it in the shower with you, that shouldn't have to be said but I'll say it anyway. I meant it's a good bathroom speaker. Put it on the sink and have it in the bathroom with you while you shower. You don't bathe with it. If that happens and your speaker breaks you only have yourself to blame. My favorite small speaker, excellent mid-range!

I haven’t found a speaker this size that has a better mid-range. I’ve tried many others, even the JBL Go 3, the JBL Clip 4… but this one always wins out. Whatever driver they put in this speaker is quite frankly the best they could’ve put in for watching shows and movies. Other speakers can get loud, but the balance always favors bass and the lower end over the mid-range. The result is the drowning out of vocals even at high volume. But not this one. The JBL Go 2 is actually backwards- the bass is there but not overpowering, and the mids are extremely strong. That’s what makes this the ideal speaker for watching shows and videos with vocals. Surprisingly versatile and extremely portable

Surprisingly good purchase!!! I did not expect the sound quality or level that this little device could produce. I'm used to the distorted and semi-decent bluetooth portable speakers that I have laying around the house, but wanted something better quality and that can be enjoyable when used. To my pleasant surprise this package was it. The volume was much louder than I had expected and more than adequate for when used outdoors in gatherings or just taking along on a fishing or camping trip. Not only volume but quality was good too without distortion or even much at higher volumes. I also appreciate the fact that the shape wasn't an odd shape that makes packing difficult but I could toss this into a backpack or a case along with my other electronics to use on the go. ... MoreSurprisingly good purchase!!!
