Treble is decent, but really livens up with the JBL Signature EQ setting via the app.For outdoors, where you want more volume and bass doesn't matter as much, you can use "Power Save" mode via the app. This actually increases the volume AND saves battery, at the cost of reducing low-end bass that you wouldn't hear outside anyway.Finally.. the quality. It feels nice just to hold it, and it looks very "quality" as well. Add to that an app with a preset and customizable EQ that actually works, plus the ability to pair two of them for stereo sound (of which I will try soon), IP67 waterproof and dustproof, and more battery life than I cared to test and I think this is, like I said, something that everyone should have.

I was very disappointed to find out I had spent money on a JBL speaker that was missing the built in microphone, all of the previous models I own have a microphone. I do not have the product I wanted, the latest model with a with a microphone. all I have is yet another Bluetooth speaker. I will keep it I guess as it came from Europe and could take three weeks before a refund, maybe a month in total. I would then purchase the Go3 which has a microphone; however, it has had many reports that the microphone is not sensitive enough and is now unsupported. Now discontinued in the Go4.
