I just bought this item. Gave one speaker as a gift. Yay! However, speaker I kept has a plug problem. Power plug gets stuck in unit and has to be pried off with way too much strength. Sam's Club cannot accept my return unless I return both speakers. Ask for the gift back, REALLY. Nor will they let me exchange from another pair. REALLY!!

Best mini Bluetooth speaker that does the job.

It definitely useful as my new desktop speaker when my computer audio card broke and I used a Bluetooth to sync to the this speaker. It has a good range and the quality is really good. The desktop is my room and I could easy take the speaker out into the kitchen and still work. No hassle with connecting to it everyday. Moreover, even if it did say 5 hours battery, it manages more than a day or two on a single charge. Maybe maybe not for a mini party in the house.

Good product if it only lasts

I bought several on Christmas as a give away for friends, i kept one for myself just to use on my office table. As of March 2023, it has stopped working for no reason. doesn't charge, doesnt turn on. no red or white light when you plug it on turn it on. holding the play and volume up button doesn't do a thing.I have a small speaker from 5yrs ago, a Xiaomi speaker i bought from Ali-X, and it's still alive.After searching google, i see there are a lot of bugs and battery issue with this device. Good sound but not linkable

I was excited to buy his pair of speakers to use when my Charge 6 speakers are too big or heavy. Although the JBL website indicates that the speakers are linkable by Bluetooth or physical cable, there are not. There is no indication on the package as to the model number. If you're looking for 2, individual speakers, the sound is good and they are light.

Great

We've had the JBL Go Essential for about 3 weeks and our 15-year-old daughter has been using it constantly ever since. The connection to the cell phone worked quickly and easily, the device was recognized immediately. The sound is rich and surprisingly good for this small device. It can easily be taken anywhere and also fits in a larger trouser pocket. The Bluetooth range is more than sufficient. We tested it in the garden and the connection was interference-free over a relatively large distance. Our daughter has her mobile phone in the bedroom and can still receive the sound in the bathroom very well through several walls.

Little Thing - big sound!

We love this little Bluetooth Speaker! According to the small size it's not bigger than a package of cigarettes, so it fits perfectly in every bag and you can take it everywhere (to the Garden, the beach or only on your balcony for example). For the little size the sound of this box is unbelievable clear with a deep base. You realy don't think, that this little thing has such an amazing sound! For us it's the perfect solution to take nice music and a relaxing feeling everywhere we want to have it. The desgin is very simple and elegant as well.

My parties were an absolute hit - thanks to JBL!

I cannot begin how exciting it is to use these speakers! They have added the life to all my parties! With JBL Go Essential, you can feel the music rushing through your veins, making your adrenaline rush quickly! I have used it constantly with me - barbecues, cooking, parties, and even during work hours. Anyone can learn to use it within seconds - it is not tricky to work with it. Sound great

They sound great and pared easily it took me awhile to figure out that you cannot connect them together like other JBL speakers so I had to pare them both and then click them both on separately in my phone. I wish they explained that in the instructions because I spent a lot of time trying to connect them. They are very small and surprise everyone on how good they sound. Price is low enough that's makes them a great gift.
