Better than expected noise cancelling

These deserve 5 stars. The sound is great and most noise cancelling are less than expected. JBL Tune 660NC does the job very well. I wear them while baking to listen to podcasts and not to disturb whatever my husband may be watching. I can barely hear the mixer so I don’t miss a word of the podcast. Love this product. One issue, although not JBL’s issue, is that I’m very petite so they tend to slip down sometimes. I wish I could tighten them a bit more. I’m not an average or even small size, these would be perfect in that category. I’m just unusually petite. Thank you JBL, in spite of this personal issue they fit better than any others I have tried.

I've had these for a year, do not recommend even at the sale price.- Bass crackles- the noise cancellation doesn't really fully block out noise but does a good enough job.- Really awful for taking calls on, especially if you're outside or even alone in your house. Find I have to be directly beside my phone for someone to hear me properly or I'm getting complaints that I sound weird or I can barely be heard.- the innovative autoplay feature doesn't work as intended, in a few months, slight movements would pause your music. Constantly having to adjust headphones for music or sound to play or press play on device to get music going again (not great for working out in).- biggest kicker is the battery, battery life is good but doesn't have an auto shut off feature ... MoreI've had these for a year, do not recommend even at the sale price.- Bass crackles- the noise cancellation doesn't really fully block out noise but does a good enough job.- Really awful for taking calls on, especially if you're outside or even alone in your house. I purchased these headphones roughly a month ago. The noise cancelling and sound quality is mediocre but good enough for the price point I suppose. After about a month of use I noticed the headphones would turn off after turning them on (after charging all night. Tried charging again and again and would still have the same problem. Then I realized that the headphones would start charging and then stop after about a minute or so. The battery would not charge past 40%. Not sure if the headphones were actually at 40% or 0% because of how fast they would turn off after connecting to your phone. This made the headphones absolutely unusable. I just threw mine out the window and ran them over with the car. That is your best option for these headphones.BTW - All these reviews are fake - botsCheers

Fantastic Noise Cancelation along with crisp sound
5 August 2024

I decided to get these headphones after losing my very old and damaged ear buds. The salesman recommended these ones due to its reliability and how great they overall sound along with the fact they were on sale for $170 off. I decided to give them a shot and I'm really impressed with it's noise cancelation settings along with overall setting option for the sound to get the right setting for your listening desires whether you're listening to music, watching a movie or making some calls. Not to mention the fantastic Google or Alexa features where you can use those by simply holding the left side of your headphones and ask a question. Have a desire to find out your local weather in the middle of a song, now you can. I've found it easy to change settings on my device to get the sound just right to what I like. This is my very first wireless headphone set and I'm very happy with my choice. I've had a JBL product before and for me they've been reliable so this brand was not a difficult choice to go with. If these are on sale for you for $170 off still, I definitely recommend you give these a try as $129 for these is absolutely worth it to say the least.

Good Headphones not durable
14 February 2024

I bought these headphones over a year ago (November 2022). I took them when I went abroad in Europe. They were great, I liked the sound, the NC, etc. But since I was traveling a lot, working out. I needed a durable headphone. I cracked the piece that connects that part between the I guess the head and phone part. It started dangling and would be annoying while I travelled. I asked JBL for a new one since I was still within my 1 year warrently. Got brand new ones but now, after just working out or wearing them at work. The headphones would fall out and that part cracked AGAIN! So now, I am on pair number 2 and have a dangling ear piece :( Would not get again since I would like a more durable headphone

Uncomfortable, not good for running or walking.
6 April 2024

Sound quality is good but that’s the only positive. They’re very tight to the head and uncomfortable. Causes headache and ear wax compaction, also the noise canceling is not very good and causes a pressure on your our ears that makes a terrible sound every time you take a step. Can’t walk with them, forget about jogging or running. Gives you a weird sensation of hearing and feeling and your heartbeat in a very uncomfortable way. Also any wind will get picked up and amplified. Wish I could return this junk but unfortunately I customized them so I’m stuck with the stethoscope9000. Do not personalize! That’s how it hey get you and unload this overpriced garbage onto you!

Use Caution

I've had my headphones for just over a year and while I love them I am on my 3rd pair. The headphones themselves are great! The noise cancelling is amazing, I love the talk-through setting and the sound quality is great! The battery life is good too. Sometimes I forget when I last charged them and I use them daily. The charging is quick and the charge holes well. Now on to the not-so-good part. I have had to have them replaced twice so far (so my current ones are my 3 rd pair). They keep breaking at the same place, a little crack on the inside of the ear shells, right where the hinges are. They have been replaced under warranty both times and that experience was easy and efficient but now I am out of the warranty period. I assume they will probably break again so I ... MoreI've had my headphones for just over a year and while I love them I am on my 3rd pair. The headphones themselves are great! I don't know if this is a one-off instance but I don't imagine so if they deem it replaceable under warranty (I.E they are not breaking due to anything I am doing to them)

after using these headphones non-stop for the past 5 days I can say that these are some of the better ones that I have used. The sound performance is good for a pair of off the shelf closed backs, however there could be more dynamic range but that really is a draw back of the design. The headphones are intuitive to use and all the settings I want to use are availble to me on the headphones without needing the app, the app however is pleasent to use when I need it. The headphones were uncomfortable for the first two or three days of use, with an excessive clamp force that actually hurt after an hour of use, i stretched them out with some books over night and that remedied that problem but I expect if I just wore them for longer they would be more comfortable aswell. ... Moreafter using these headphones non-stop for the past 5 days I can say that these are some of the better ones that I have used. They currently are very comfy to wear and the ear pads are cushiony enough that they dont dig into the sides of my head like some other headphones. The noise cancelling of these headphones is good, not amazing, but cuts the high pitch noises from the bus or (presumibly) an airplane fairly well while the low rumble remains; imo the lower rumbles are far less offensive to the ear that a highpitch one.finally, the only negative is the voice assistant, on iphone there is only alexa or siri, however I never get siri to show up its always alexa, and it is a good thing I never use voice assistants because the 'double tap for alexa' feature works maybe a tenth of the time, its very spotty and should of had been replaced with a button. Personally i dont care, but if you are some productibility machine and utilize voice assistants all the time, dont get these headphones for that.

⚠️ Warning - Too Tight
14 December 2023

I purchased a set yesterday (I tried the sample unit in the shop and seemed OK before I purchased). When I opened the box this morning the set I purchased seemed smaller, and they hurt my ears after wearing for 5 minutes. Feels like an ear clamp. Noel Leeming will not allow me to exhange them 'for hygiene reasons' - which is a cop out as they are over ear not in ear type. After all, I can exchange a hat, sunglasses or goggles - so why not these? Because of 'Noel Leeming Hygiene Policy'. If that is a valid reason then why do they have a sample head set to try in the shop!!! (and I'm wondering if perhaps the demo set in the Dunedin store are stretched, and that's why they fit). The Manager would not budge. I'm stuck with headphones I cannot use. Don't purchase JVC if ... MoreI purchased a set yesterday (I tried the sample unit in the shop and seemed OK before I purchased).
