I wanted a Bluetooth speaker to keep plugged in in my home office to listen to music while I worked. I got a cheap no name brand on Amaz*n, tested it out for maybe 15 minutes when I got it then when I went to use it while I worked a few days later, it wouldn't turn on. So I decided to get a reputable brand and wanted the JBL party box encore but it wasn't available at a store locally and I'm impatient. I got the 110 instead. It is WAY bigger than I anticipated lol. That's my bad for not looking at the size specs. I set it up and turned it on, easy to pair with my phone. Quickly realized this was way overkill for my little bedroom home office. I absolutely love it! I wish I had another use for it but we're a house full of speaker junkies, husband has big studio monitors for DJing, etc so I can't think of another room to use this in that doesn't already have a sound system. I was done working at 4 but didn't want to leave my office and stop listening to music on my new speaker hah. I ordered the encore and will be returning this big boy in a week once I get the encore, even though I'm sad about it. If you need a loud, amazing sounding bluetooth speaker, this one is for you! Especially if it's for a bigger space.

Recently purchased a pair of JBL Partybox 110ās and they are simply fabulous. Read a lot of reviews, listened to many different brands but these ticked all the boxes and certainly impress. For me itās not so much about volume but quality of sound and the frequency range is perfect. Nice weight to them so donāt rattle at higher volumes (unlike the Samsung) and have a warmer tone than the Sony. Sound is very personal and these are superb and commented on by everyone that has listened to them. Only negative are the preset DJ sounds which are a bit gimmicky however would be nice if you could download new ones on the Partybox App. Would be nice if JBL made fitted waterproof covers for them.

I have a collection of speakers and it takes a lot for me to say that this Partybox 100 is a new favorite of the bunch. Its unique light show display combined with its impressive sound strength sets it above and beyond in my book - especially for its mid-tier size. If you're looking for a reliable speaker to host your parties without breaking the bank, this one should be a serious contender - hereās why: Sound Thereās no denying the strength of this speaker and its ability to perform. The sound is balanced and provides a deep bass that can be easily increased with a few presses of a button. I was impressed to feel my room vibrating to the bass of this speaker with it turned all the way up. The sound is a solid 5 considering its size and price. I was impressed to feel my room vibrating to the bass of this speaker with it turned all the way up. The sound is a solid 5 considering its size and price. Light Show The light show on this unit is simply awesome. The lights emulate the sound well and itās a bonus that you can choose from four different light show types. Iāve enjoyed cycling through the different displays and seeing how each one matches the treble and bass of a song. The only aspect I wish I could change is the ability to turn off the strobe lights. Although they add a certain coolness factor, I just wish I had some control over the two strobe lights at the top and bottom of the speaker. Mobility At almost 2 feet tall, I was expecting this thing to not only be heavy but also be pretty awkward. It's surprisingly light and with well-placed handles I can easily move it around with little trouble. Smaller people may have some trouble with it (Iām 6ā1), but overall itās a great speaker to throw in the trunk on your way to a party. Bluetooth The range of this speaker is solid - I walked all around my house with my phone without any trouble. It took walking outside and down my driveway to eventually start losing connection. This is important especially regarding its intent as a party speaker - if I bring this to a party I donāt want to be anchored next to it the whole night. Based on my testing, I wonāt be. PartyBox 100ās can only connect with other PartyBox 100ās if you want dual speakers (or more). Thatās a problem if you decide to get the next speaker up like the PartyBox 200 or maybe even the 300. But if you stay in the 100ās and you have a modern smartphone capable of connecting to several devices, you should be good for hooking up to multiple speakers via Bluetooth. Interface/Accessibility Sometimes interface simplicity can be a drawback, but in this case itās great. When I get to a party, I want to be able to turn on the speaker, connect, and play. No tuning or small adjustments, just good sound now. Thatās exactly what this speaker does. I turn it on, connect, press the bass button twice and everythingās good to go. If you need to connect via AUX or USB, you just flip open the back and thereās an input for each. It was a bonus to see you can also hook up a microphone for karaoke nights or an electric guitar for the musicians out there. These components give it more range of use and add some extra value. Battery Iāve played this speaker for 3 hours at full blast with the bass booster on full and it still has half its battery left. That is awesome. If I kept it on half volume I am confident it could last 10-12 hours which is more than Iād need for just about any party. After 3 hours of playtime at full capacity, I didnāt see any difference in sound or quality from this speaker. Its sound strength has remained consistent and continues to stay consistent as I use it. Overall I genuinely enjoy this speaker whether Iām at a party or just partying on my own. Itās the speakerās ability to cover the basics (sound, battery life, Bluetooth range) and provide extra features like its mobility, simplicity, and of course, the light show, that makes it a go-to speaker for me. It really is super cool and I look forward to using it for years to come.

Needed a quick solution for a loud, portable, chargeable and weather-proof bluetooth connected speaker. Spent the coin to take this home and am very pleased with the sound quality, the output strength, base response, charge time, durability and mobile app. There is a ton to like about this unit, including the fun light show features and DJ sound effects. Battery life is insane so far. Only downsides are that it is heavier than it looks and the mic/guitar inputs aren't as clean sounding as an actual PA or monitor--seems like they assume you're only singing karaoke, goofing off or making announcements. Not something I'd seriously want to plug into for a performance, which is kind of bummer, because that'd be the icing on the cake if it was good for busking or if it ...Ā MoreNeeded a quick solution for a loud, portable, chargeable and weather-proof bluetooth connected speaker. If you are looking for a Bluetooth speaker that absolutely pumps volume out with unbelievable highs and mids then this is the one. This Bluetooth speaker really is the best party speaker hands down. If you're concerned about the low bass issue that may be lacking then I at least have a pretty amazing option for you!! This speaker can output a very clean signal to any external subwoofer via headphone jack out to rca plugs(red/white audio plugs). I tested this and found to really be impressed with the performance of the speaker. The connected subwoofer increases and decreases with your change of volume to the jbl speaker so you can set it to a preset gain for the whole night of listening. If you're really wanting to get the best battery powered bass option with this subwoofer, I'd look at diamondboxxs subs like the sub 8.2. That's the best battery powered sub on the market right now as far as portability and sound output go. That's my next go to when I have the funds. I originally wanted to buy a big giant portable battery bank and get the jbl 1000 but it doesn't work that simple unfortunately. I did the math and this is the only way to really get some serious good sound out of a battery powered setup. Both the partybox 110 and diamondboxx sub8.2 last 6 hours at full volume it says so that's really amazing imo. Also, I personally heard the partybox 1000 and the bass is what caught my ear since it was sooo clean and deep It intrigued me to look into what jbl has to offer now on the market. Buy this speaker you won't regret it I promise.
I bought this JBL PartyBox speaker at JB Hi Fi on sale. Got it for a good price. The speaker is a solid structure. Its a little on the heavy side to lift. All functions work well, like the party coloured lights, mic and guitar imputs. The speaker has a nice bassy sound, you can click the Bass Boost button to add even more bass. The volume works well and you can turn it up loud. The speaker is splashproof although I havent tested this. The speaker works well with the JBL phone app. You can change the party light patterns, volume and other features. The speaker works well with Bluetooth. You can even buy another speaker and connect the two to play simultaneously. I absolutely love this speaker. I love the design and body styling of this speaker. The light show and the customization you get with the lights are awesome as well. I love the clarity, and the overall sound of this speaker. The bass is aweome as well, most of the time i dont even use the bass boost, but when i am in need of some bass, it sure is there. 10/10 would recommend this speaker to anyone who just needs something bigger than an xtreme. The boombox costs more than the 110, and isnt as loud, has less bass, doesnt have lights. It is smaller and more portable, but this speaker is not very heavy for the size of it.
Like all the other 5 star reviews - this PartyBox is AMAZING. Iām not a fan of JBLās smaller speakers, but I love this PartyBox!!! ā¤ļø I use it on my screened porch (neighbors hate me) and it sounds great! I donāt use the extra bass. Itās not needed as the speaker has plenty of bass without it. But still nice to have. The speaker is clear and I havenāt noticed any distortion. I was never a fan of lighting on speakers, but the lighting is so cool. Mesmerizing!! No other brand has done it better than JBL! The app works well, no issue there. Itās nice to have so much control over this PartyBox. Totally worth the price. I might even get a second one for stereo pairing, but as a single speaker for outdoor tunes, Iām very satisfied! No regrets!

The highs and mods are very prevalent and the bass can shake the room depending on the location and bass boost selected. When listening to rock the middle and highs are sharp and crisp (I did find the bass lacking some however). With hip hop the bass was the best and had a nice thump to it. Country music was well rounded with bass and mids. Convenience : While the JBL PartyBox 110 is designed to take anywhere, I did find it a little hard to lug around. The sheer weight is enough sometimes for me to leave it at home. On another note I also found on the startup instructions that this speaker could connect to the JBL PartyBox app. I was pretty excited for this until I figured out that the app only accepts the JBL PartBox 310 currently. I would like to see JBL include more speakers for this app in the future. Overall Thoughts : For a small gathering or home party this speaker will not disappoint! The sound and light features will be a show stopper for your next event. For JBL to take this speaker to the next level add an ability to connect to the PartyBox App and a way to EQ the sound. The JBL PartyBox 110 is very similar in design to the
