There is an LED light that shines on the panel when you open it. So helpful as this area is often very hard to see without light.The slide-up handle paired with the wheels is very nice and helpful for getting around. The light show is really fun at times. But when lights are off the speaker can just blend in to the background and not be a distraction. It has a spot under it for mounting on a pole to get it off the ground. One part I almost forgot to mention because it’s so used and obvious is the battery! Having this whole unit run on a battery makes it so easy to setup and go.The JBL PartyBox App is quite helpful and really allows you to gain control over the features. You can set the lights however much or little you want. Having control over the mic from app has proven helpful when the mic is left on or when I need to adjust the sound when I am someone else is using and I am not by the speaker. In the app I have control over adjusting the music being played through my mobile device, though I often don’t feel the need.For connecting your mobile device, you are limited to an aux plug and Bluetooth.

I purchased the 120 online, listened to it in my yard, tried to like it but it just didn’t do it for me.. Purchased the Partybox 320, and I was blown away immediately. There was no doubt which one I would keep after listening to the first song. The 120 was nice but i thiught i was missing some mids, the bass was punchy but only at volume. The 320 on the other hand has bass at low volume as well as cranked up. The difference is night and day in my opinion. The only way i can describe it is I like to feel my music and just didnt with the 120. Bottom line the 320 has superior sound quality over the 120 and the bass is out of this world. Cant speak to reliability but I’ve have the JBL Extreme for 7 years with no issues, battery life still great
I wanted an upgrade to my $120 no-name PA speaker that I bought on Amazon to use for home karaoke. While this is a nice (and flashy) speaker, I ended up returning it because for karaoke my no-name speaker sounds better. I originally tried it with the professional mic I have (connected to a mixer) and it sounded somewhat tinny and empty. No matter the adjustments I made to the equalizer and gain I just couldn't get it to sound as rich as it does on my no-name speaker. So I bought the JBL Partybox dual wireless microphones thinking they would work better, as they're made for the machine. They sounded even worse. The speaker supports HiRes 24 bit, Dolby Atmos sound. I found that all of these amazing features really drew me in and I didn’t want to stop the party! So the more I listen to The Stage 320, the more I was drawn in to the incredible sound AND lightshow! There is no doubt that dub step, dance and hip hop sound amazing, but so does Rock and Alternative. I didn’t push this baby passed volume level 4 of 10. Anything over 4 literally shakes the house causing pictures on the walls and glasses to vibrate off the tables and break. Included are (2) big 6.5 inch woofers and (2) 25 dome tweeters, all powered by a huge 240 Watts! All finely tuned with JBL Signature Sound, this beautiful monster can be played inside or fully let loose out in the yard!You will find a pair of wide wheels built in to the back with a telescoping handle that can be extended to the setting of your choice. No more carrying it to any destination, only rolling! Just like that.In conclusion, ready to go right out of the BIG box, the JBL PARTYBOX Stage 320 incorporates mind blowing sights and sounds that can only come from one company. This speaker is a fantastic improvement for JBL. I previously owned 2 Partybox 310's and bought these for the swappable battery function and auracast capability but honestly was not anticipating how much I would enjoy the improved sound quality as well. The vocals sound so much cleaner and clearer in these speakers and especially at lower volumes, it sounds significantly more balanced than the 310. I loved listening to my 310's at lower volumes from time to time, and it just sometimes was far to bass heavy for light listening, whereas with the 320 I think it is so much better to listen to. At high volumes the bass I think is just as good as my 310's and it sounds so much cleaner. It will also connect the speakers automatically from the app so no need to press any buttons on the speaker, and if you had them connected when you turned them off from your phone, it will automatically turn both on and connect them together. This is such an underrated feature.Also, there is virtually no lag with the wireless connection to multiple other speakers with video, this is huge for me because I use two of these for outdoor movies and I love that I don't need any wired connection to show a movie and they have no lag with the video. Most other brands have no lag on video if you are connected to one speaker but the minute you connect multiple wirelessly, there is a lag between the audio and video, with these that is not the case and it is amazing!The hole mount for a speaker stand on this model is smaller than the older one, which if you have owned a 310 was one of the most frustrating parts of this speaker, anytime you mounted it on a stand it was too big or too small for the standard sizes on speaker stands and would cause it to just tilt to one side or spin around super easy. They have made the hole smaller and it allows it to fit better, it's not perfect, its still a little off, but it's definitely better than the 310.Also, you have to really see the light feature in person to appreciate it, but the 310's light feature to me felt more like a gimmick whereas the 320's looks so legitimate and is just so much smoother and the customization capabilities are vast with this light feature.It also has a DJ board that you can use with your
