This classic 1995 release is still viable to this day. Thanks to its timeless Fresh DNA it offers. Despite the reformations it’s still a good fragrance just doesn’t last as long as it used to. Before it was a beast mode 12+ hour fragrance now it’s just 6-7 hours. This is considered a sweet fresh fragrance The top notes are : Lavender, Mint Cardamom, Bergamot, Artemisia. Giving you a fresh opening with timeless scents with he lavender and bergamot The mid note are Cinnamon Orange Blossom Caraway. Giving it a spicy edge to the fragrance. The base notes are Vanilla ,Tonka Bean ,Amber , Sandalwood. The vanilla is very present in the fragrance making it last long and giving it a sweet edge to this fragrance. Amazing, but doesn't suite everyone

Purchased this recently. I own about 15 different fragrances because of how much I love them. After purchasing JPG Le Male, I was skeptical at first. Felt like a scent that belonged to someone aged 40-60 years old. Jean Paul Gaultier Le Male EDT 100ml

Created in 1995 by master perfumer Francis Kurkdjian, Le Male is a classic fresh and powdery fragrance that most people will love. The opening is very reminiscent of shaving cream with freshness from the lavender and mint. You also get a slight sweetness from the vanilla that brings it all together. Some might see this as a night out fragrance but honestly I could see myself wearing this in every season, even on hotter days. I get solid performance from Le Male, about 8 hours or so on my skin.

First off, I cant believe they sell this high end fragrance at walmart but at any rate...Im not a big perfume wearer in general. But this fragrance is a must have for me. I can wear it pretty much any time daily or special occasion, I seem to always go back to it. I even will spray it on before going to bed sometimes. It just makes me feel positive in general. I get tons of compliments on it, even from people who cannot tolerate fragrances very much like myself. They love it and mention how pleasant it is. Its an oldie classic but definitely a goodie. Rivals any of these newer scents out today. Will leave a good impression. Love the equivalent mens classique as well. The classique for men is actually how I got introduced to the scents in general. Okay, I am not a fan of this fragrance. It initially smells soapy and then like rose baby powder on me more than like an actual fragrance. There just isnt enough complexity to this for me and am not sure who it is even geared to out there. It is just a muted simple floral with sandalwood and just a hint of vanilla without any notes to make it interesting. Ive smelled soaps that are more interesting than this. If you want a straight up rose, I would suggest Stella by Stella McCartney. There is no citrus or any other fruit, no spice, no woodiness, no green, no freshness, no variety in florals, no gourmand, no real sweetness, and just no real personality to this. This aftershave is an eau de parfum so it's going to generally be a bit more expensive than other aftershave on the market, however it's got great value as it will probably last you a lot longer than cheaper products! It's something I would happily buy in the future as I know you get a proper bang for your buck. If you're similar to me, and you want a great value, luxury smelling, strong and long lasting aftershave then you will definitely want to give this one a try. You'll be impressed by how little you need to use, and by the unique scent that will surely make a statement as to your taste, and style.

this gets a lot of hate it doesn’t deserve.

Eros has been my go to for a few years now and it actually replaced the original JPG for me since it’s reformulation. Eros performs much better than both Le male, and In the navy but it’s a scent that has become a bit too common, and can be a tad bit much sometimes. honestly if you want to make this fragrance, well this is the perfect answer of you want Eros, but you want some aquatic feel to it. it’s not as overbearing as Eros, and again doesn’t project and perform as well but I think that’s the point. if you want it to be a bit stronger, throw a spray or 2 of Eros. but if you want something that’s a bit more toned down than that this is the way to go. blind buy trust me you will be happy and since I got 200 ML for 60 bucks.. I’m not complaining.
