I purchased this replacement lid as I thought my original was defective. When pouring liquid from the opening or even if I were to drink from the opening of the lid, it would flow all around lid's opening and drip all over the place. I wish the side were made of a different material with a tighter, more leak-resistant seal.
This lid fits better than the original lid that came with my Sumo.
We bought this replacement lid because our original lid has always leaked once it gets warm. I spoke to customer service and they told me to make sure it made an audible click when putting it on. Makes me wonder if they have actually used the product as it gets very soft and pliable when warm and is not capable of clicking. Still leaks just like the original. But hey, now I can choose from a leaky orange lid or a leaky grey lid.
I needed a new lid for my MiniMo stove because I had left it out overnight and some mice chewed up the original (lazy rookie mistake). This was a perfect replacement lid. Jetboil warned me after purchasing that processing my order might take up to two weeks due to a backlog, but it still arrived within 5 days of purchasing -- 2 days processing time, 3 days ship time from midwest to west coast, pretty fast for a real (ie, ethical) company. It also arrived with minimal packaging, which I appreciate. You have to pay for shipping on such a small purchase like this but the lid itself was so inexpensive that it was still a good deal with zero hassle to keep my stove intact.
Except the lid pops off super easily probably gonna have to order a new lid
I purchased this lid to replace the older Sumo lid that didn’t stay secure while pouring. This did the trick!
It fits well. I look forward to trying it on the trail. The fit seems to be more secure than my old original lid.
