Been using this brand for over 10 years now and got really impressed by the quality of the 0.38 that I buy in Japan.Only 0.5 is being sold by Lazada sellers.Hope they can also sell 0.38 ones.I like how convenient it is to have all the necessary ink available in one pen.Most importantly, the smoothness when I write. My absolute favorite all around pen! I love the multiple colors (alongside the mechanical pencil aspect!) The grip is comfortable for the hours of studying my hands endure and the flow of the pencil is never overwhelming. There are no ink blots and the consistency of the tone of color remains stable throughout sentences of writing. I use this pen for writing in Korean and Japanese as well and the .5mm is a perfect size to capture, without smudging, the intricacy of the characters. Definitely has become my favorite and one I know I can always count on. If you’re looking for an all-in one pencil, this one may be the one for you!

I'm addicted to these 4 color metallic body jetstream pens. The look good and write so smoothly. Plus clicking to another color is nice and quick. And I like that the pencil has a separate clicking mechanism from the ink. I can't gush enough about how much I enjoy writing with this pen.

It definitely had a lot of give when I wrote, the barrel had a small radius of movement it could bend/lean in before following the movement of the actual pen barrel.All in all, the multipen is just that: a really useful pen. The lead pencil part is so worthless a dollar store generic could do better, but you're not here for the pencil, so that's ok. The 1 was kind of like an afterthought, as seen by its name, the "4&1".

This is a nice multi-pen for ballpoints. The ink is slightly faded but I've gotten used to gel pens, and I know this is just a ballpoint. I'd compare the ink in these pens to standard Bic ink. I love having four colors and a pencil. This is a nice pen to use when I journal because I can change the color of the ink as I change thoughts or I like to use the blue for my dates and signatures, the black for my main body. I use red ink when I write down news-headlines that I track, and in those news headlines if I have a personal thought about the article, I'm working on I like to switch to the green to keep it separate from the main info on the article. But that's just how I use this pen. It could be used for any number of things.

Once while carrying it clipped to my pants pocket the tip unscrewed itself and fell off. I realized that was because my messenger bag had been rubbing against it with each step and slowly rotating the grip, and I can't fault the pen for that. The metal grip has square cut threads that make it quick and easy to remove and install. The grip diameter seems huge at first, but I have found that makes it much more comfortable for me than a skinny pen. It lets my thumb--cramped from smartphone overuse--relax, and my hand acts more to steer the pen than to squeeze it tightly or press it against the paper. I love Jetstream ballpoints: the ink is smooth and the colors bright. These 0.5mm refills are not as smoothly satisfying as a 1.0mm Jetstream, but they do allow for finer writing. Probably the 0.7mm refills would be the sweet spot since I don't think Uni sells one in 1.0mm. Is this a perfect pen? No, but it is as perfect as I could imagine for this category of affordable multipens. It is a joy to look at and to use, and I plan to do so for a long time to come.

I got one of these for Christmas. I started using to write down notes and practice plans in my coaching notebook. After using the pen for a couple months, I ordered 3 more; one for my wife, one for my assistant coach, and another one for myself. I love this pen. I may order one with the larger ball point just to try it. We will see.

This pen is a fantastic writing instrument - size, weight, ergonomics, ruggedness, it has it all, plus multi colors AND a pencil! Bought my first in 2011, still going strong. Loved it so much I bought a second to keep with my personal journal/office at home. Bought a third (in pink) for my daughter when she started high school - she too loves hers! Ink cartridges last a long time. They don’t clog or bleed, are NOT expensive and are easily replaceable when they do have to swapped out for new ones.
