I would recommend if you are 100% sure you will get into BJJ eventually, whether it is now or someday down the road. If you are unsure if you are in love with BJJ, take a few more classes and get some more experience, before you make this investment. I think I will have to stop doing jiujitsu currently, because I want to focus solely on kickboxing, but I know I will eventually go back to jiujitsu after I have a few amateur kickboxing fights, so I do not regret the book.
It can be tough learning a martial art through a book but this is an excellent resource in addition to regular, in-person instruction.
This is the best jiu jitsu book I have ever found. It is awesome for beginners but has stuff to benefit all levels. I would say this is the first book anyone interested in jiu jitsu should buy. Saulo ribeiro is one of the best instructors in the world too his techniques are highly effective

I favour learning in books over the internet and videos, hence my quest for such an educational, technical book. Great books thanks for the knowledge
Saulo has done a fantastic job breaking down the most efficient movements for a specific situation, and despite being a brown belt in jits with professional MMA experience I am picking up snippets of gold throughout the book. It is proving particularly beneficial for my teaching, giving me ample cues to provide less experienced students with and aiding to ensure they are receiving comprehensive instruction. This is a must have for any grappling practitioner.
