I lusted after this product for a while before I purchased it. I usually love the Jo Malone range and really expected good things from this diffuser. Unfortunately the scent, although lovely, didn't quite fill the room and although lovely, was rendered as an ornament. For the high price tag I had expected more. I have since continued to fill the glass chamber with an alternative brand diffuser liquid so I still get to enjoy the diffuser in the room, but I wouldn't purchased this again based on the smell alone. Amazing Aroma

This is an amazing aroma that lasts a very long time. And the container has a very elegant look. While the price is dear, given the length of time that it lasts, the price is not as high as it seems up front. The packaging probably adds a lot to the cost and the packaging is really great if you're giving this as a gift. For personal use, the packaging is irrelevant - to me. In any case, love, love, love this scent and I get a lot of compliments on it. Definitely recommend this product, but it is pricey.

Awful, what have they done?

I've had Pomegranate Noir candles and diffusers for years. I contacted JL about my latest purchase because I couldn't believe it was the genuine article. They confirmed it had come direct from Jo Malone but it's much paler and the aroma bears no resemblance to the old perfume. I still have an old one in use and an empty jar with the diffuser sticks still smelling as they should. This new one smells cheap and synthetic and is unpleasant. If it was a supermarket version I'd dismiss it as cheap and nasty, this is nasty but not cheap. I contacted Jo Malone who, in fairness to them, offered to replace it and I requested a Lime and Basil diffuser instead. I'm afraid there are clear signs of cost cutting and based on these two diffusers, I will not be buying any Jo Malone again. I'm happy to pay for quality but I think the present owners are relying on the old reputation while drastically cutting the quality of the product. What a shame, loyal customers aren't stupid and will not continue to buy. They're on a slippery slope I fear.

Divine aroma lasts months

Tad expensive but in the long run worth every Penny . Last longer than cheaper products and smells wonderful.Use the same scent throughout the house.Must remember to turn the sticks weekly. Mind the drips of oil off them on furniture.I use their hand wash and cream in guests loo.

Elegant and Sophisticated!

I’ve been purchasing this home diffuser sent from Jo Malone since 2015 and I still love it to this day. The woody notes complement the pomegranate very well - it is simply perfectly balanced and sophisticated. My only recommendation is that upon first opening the product, if the scent is too strong use fewer reeds. @jomalone Please consider selling refills or a recycling rewards program! I would like to purchase without feeling so guilty over excessive glass waste. The bottles are beautiful and 100% reusable!

My favourite diffuser

I bought this in November last year. I was a little nervous splashing out all that money on a diffuser but I wasn't disappointed!I have since bought it for my mum and a friend for their birthdays.I use the diffuser in my bedroom and I think placement is so important with diffusers.When I first opened it I had to move it onto the landing at night as the scent was too strong.We are now in April and there is a very small amount of liquid left so it's lasted a good 5 months.The diffuser can still be smelt in the area around where it's placed and when walked past although the room (to me) doesn't smell of it strongly anymore.I would happily buy another as I feel it's lasted really well.I would like to try the peony and blush suede next as I hear this is another ... MoreI bought this in November last year. No smell or aroma

Having purchased several Jo Malone pomegranate noir reed diffusers I thought I would treat myself to another, disappointing is an understatement. I love these diffusers, but I can honestly say that there is little smell or aroma. I’ve had it out in my room and virtually nothing! As a rule these are very strong diffusers hence why I purchased another one. I am so disappointed and don’t know if I will buy another one at these cost!

The Scent of Home

I am so happy that John Lewis sells this Jo Malone diffuser, the Pomegranate Noir scent is divine and it has been a stable in my home for several years.Jo Malone diffusers may be a tad more expensive of those sold on the High Street, but definitely worth it. The scent permeates the reeds deliciously. I have found that with cheaper diffusers, after a short time I can smell the 'woodyness' of the sticks, overpowering the scent. With the Jo Malone diffuser you only smell the scent, and for a long time too - they last for ages!What I love is when I come home, I open my front door and my favourite Pomegranate Noir Scent calls out, "Home".Thank you Jo Malone and thank you to John Lewis!

Winter months fragrance

I LOVE the Jo Malone Lime Basil and Mandarin diffuser, and typically use it Year round. So, I thought that I’d venture out and try a new scent, the Pomegranate Noir. Although the scent is lovely, it’s too heavy for this time of year. My mistake, not the companies.Simply said, use the fragrance applicable to the season.

beautiful scent but not worth the price tag

The scent is beautiful but the oil in the diffuser has only lasted about 3 months. Purchased the peony and blush suede diffuser a year ago and there’s still plenty of oil left in it. Not sure why the pomegranate noir has only lasted me a fraction of that. Not worth the price tag in my opinion.
