I needed a Tripod for my Recopoint Pop 1 3D scanner. The scanner was supposed to have one but it was missing from the box. Revopoint did promptly credit me for it.This Tripod is a very sturdy construction with a telescopic center pole. There is some type of Remote Control included. I think it is a remote camera trip for some phones. Construction is very good and proper materials were used to make a quality piece of equipment.It does have a phone holder but I bought another version with threaded fastener on bottom and top so I could stack the 3D Scanner on top.

I think you should write a review when you are sure it is a genuine review. I bought it almost 2 years back and today while checking my old orders I found it. Thought of giving my feedback. It is the best product I ever bought. Bluetooth is still working perfectly fine, the battery is still in good shape. If you need a selfie stick, go for it.

After looking at some of the cheaper products I thought by paying a bit more, the quality and functionality wouldn't be a problem.I found the telescopic extension very fiddly and prone to sliding back within itself unless really twisting the sections (which seem to be held in place by friction alone).The positioning of the mobile phone grip is also just kept in place by a cheap friction lever that fails unless you're really positive with it.The 'Blue tooth' function seems fine.Very over priced.
Difficult to find a good retractable iPhone holder/stand but the Joby TelePod (Model: JB01550) does the job. I needed something quick and found, for the price, it is a good value: lightweight and sturdy. I do recommend that if using as a stand, attach it to a 2.5 lb or more shot bag to prevent a strong wind from knocking it over. Currently, I use the JOBY TelePod to hold my Logitech - 4K Pro 4096 x 2160 Webcam (also purchased at Best Buy). As for the remote it does NOT stay attached to the handle at all, so I highly recommend you get a separate keychain ring and make it detachable. That way you can put in your pocket for remote picture and or video control. The holder clip for the phone is a pressure clamp and is okay. Feels great, works great, worth every penny.I added an attachment for my GoPro and bought a more solid feeling cell phone clamp because the iPhone 13 Pro is a big phone and didn't feel secure with the included device clamp.Now the bad news - the remote does not attach very well and you will lose it the first time you leave the house unless it is in your pocket. I had to order a replacement remote from the manufacturer - I've been waiting for three weeks.

The neck pulls out a section at a time and requires a 1/4 turn for each section to tighten it. If you fail to tighten enough it slips down quickly causing the phone to fling off. Tighten it too much and I worry it will break. The clamp that holds the phone is rather weak as my cell has come out a couple times. fortunately I was in the house each time and so my cell didn't fall to the ground. The clamp doesn't allow the extra depth if you have a case on the phone and this is a problem because if the phone pops out without a case, there is no protection to keep it from breaking.
