I am an active man with a demanding physical job and have found the Full Rise Briefs are the most comfortable and supportive. The key is to wear them properly and order the right size. I wear them just at or below my belly button, as pictured by the model. When worn at this height they provide effective support down below. Now one little trick I learned. If you are used to lower rise briefs that sit lower on your waist, you might need to up the size. In lower rise briefs I wear a 34. But to comfortably sit just below my belly button I order a 38 or 40.I initially ordered a Large. They were OK but a bit binding. I upped it to an XL and now they fit perfect. It's been a long time since I wore Jockey briefs. I like traditional full rise briefs that are white in color. Unfortunately a lot of stores have stopped carrying the kinds that I like or the quality is not as good as I used to be. So I tried Jockey again ordering through the website. I could get the exact size and style I needed without having to Rifle through poorly stocked disorganized shelves in the store. I work a physical job so I like the additional support that briefs supply. And wearing these again for the first time in a long time I am surprised at how comfortable they are! I like that they are full cut they are not skimpy and uncomfortable like other briefs that I've tried. I like that they come in specific waist sizes. Well made. Excellent fit, true to photographs; size M on 32” waist. High quality materials, precisely constructed; very comfortable, no binding or bunching. Good looking, trim fit unlike the first version of a couple years ago. Pouch volume and shape is on target. However, without any exaggeration, the fly is simply unusable. The overlap is far too wide to negotiate passage considering the entire spectrum of anatomical variation; an easily foreseeable and demonstrably obvious problem during the design development process, it seems. If you put it on your no-fly list, then it’s a fine brief.

I have been eyeing these for a while as I really enjoy the feeling of full rise jockeys. Being that I am not a tall person these briefs do go up my torso pretty far and above my belly button. Overall, Jockey classic briefs are really comfortable and these being a high rise they are very fun. I think the waistband tag can get a little itchy at times. I don't know how practical these briefs are for me, full rise briefs tend to lower throughout the day leaving you spilling out and without support. Hard to deny they are fun and comfortable to wear. These will definitely show the waistband above your pants, if you are okay with everyone knowing you proudly wear high rise tighty whities. Overall, good buy for me, but they are expensive for just a 2 pack. Offering more ... MoreI have been eyeing these for a while as I really enjoy the feeling of full rise jockeys. I haven't worn Jockey full-cut briefs in 55 years, but recently picked up a four-pack in a store, more out of nostalgic curiosity than anything else. To my amazement, I love them! So much, that I promptly threw out all the boxer-briefs, medium-cuts, low-cuts, colour stuff, and other brands I had been wearing, and replaced them with white classic full-cut Jockeys. Just one issue: they shrink something awful on the first wash -- a full size at least. I pulled on a new pair over a washed pair and the difference in size is incredible. I know 100% cotton shrinks, but this is really bad shrinkage. I have to get size 40 to ensure I will end up wearing size 38.
Overall good mesh briefs, I like the mesh fabric material. Thus far it is soft and breathable. I have been hand washing and hang drying these as I do a lot of my briefs as you can't use fabric softener. I don't understand why these have a fly as it is useless and you can't use it so I would prefer they didn't even have a fly. I would not like the double fabric in the front so they would even breath more but others might find to revealing. I wish they were a little more mid-rise like my Jockey Sport Mesh as these are ok, but I prefer a mid-rise briefs and these are more on the full cut side. I read other reviews complaining about the fabric in the crotch area and it is ok for me a I think it depends on your size. I wish a 3.5 star review was possible for this style of Jockey underwear. Pros: Mostly cotton fabric, mid-hip fit, not bulky like traditional tighty-whities. Cons: Cotton fabric so sheer you can see through it, thick elastic waistband, noticeable wear after laundering. The sad truth is these underwear are one of the very few options for men in this cotton/low-rise fit category. I really miss the Elance Poco Ribbed Brief---now THAT was an incredibly comfortable, well-fitted pair of men's underwear that literally lasted years. They were such great underwear that I didn't realize they had been discontinued until too late. Jockey, I'd pay more for a product that was well made and comfortable.
Don’t waste your money on ordering this item. I am a loyal jockey customer for my underwear and decided to try and replace my husband’s Calvin Klein underwear that he’s been wearing for years and were finally wearing out. He wears a size 34 waist pant and I ordered a size 38 jockey underwear and after washing them, they look like they would fit my six year old grandson. I asked my husband if he liked them and what he thought of them and he said that he would NEVER purchase them again and they are very tight, which I could understand after seeing how much they have shrank after two washes . I placed an order for Calvin Klein underwear and we won’t be switching from them ever again. Complete waste of money. If you could rate a negative one star review, I would have.
The classic, and good, as expected. An all-cotton (breathable!), uncomplicated brief. I get them in black, and appreciate their being available in that color. I will note that the fabric might be a little lighter weight than traditionally. I might be imagining this. But it seems solid enough and is so far wearing well, as did the last dozen of these I bought a few years ago. Those too are still wearable; it's the elastic around the waist gives way first, before the fabric starts to give out. Yes, I would recommend these, and yes, I have already bought them more than once. Great value.
I bought two packages of briefs with a 42-inch waist. After an initial washing and drying, the waistlines of the briefs, when measured while NOT wearing them, ranged between 31 and 32 inches.Yes, I can get into them. The elastic is… elastic. But kinda snug! And, no, I don't think that these briefs were somehow mislabeled with the wrong size, or are some other kind of manufacturing error, or seconds, or irregulars. The other proportions seem typical for 42-inch briefs.(And the only reason I bought 42-inch briefs at all was because the Jockey POUCH briefs that I had bought previously on Amazon, labeled with a "40-42" inch waist (which I bought for my 39-40 inch waist) had proven too tight.)I have worn Jockey briefs, and other brands, throughout my life. But I now think that Jockey has "value-engineered" (pooched) their brand.
