Bought the quilt a few weeks ago. It is mid winter at the moment and so far it has been very warm even on really cold nights, and not too warm that its overheating either, just right (can't comment on summer). It is also really fluffy and light, though the fabric is more noisy when moving around than others I have had but this is more a comment than an issue. Responsibly sourced down was one of the key factors for me and the brand states "ethically sourced down" but not sure exactly what that actually means, unlike RSD certification (which has defined rules and some other brands are following it). However, hopefully it is better than the companies which can make no claims at all (who would contribute to misery for the ducks and geese).

I brought to the attention of Peters of Kensington staff regarding the casing of duvet, crunchy noises, feeling as you are covering with stack of newspapers. The response from Donna was: nothing is wrong with the duvet, that is how it was made. Basically... suck it up. (I did send a short video of noises it makes). The duvet is high end of the market with RRP$1200.Surely more than a standard of the shelf replay would be expected. Its a shame ...

At first it felt like nice quality, however after one season the feathers started to move and no amount of plumping brought them back. We now have numerous empty patches offering no insulation. So we had to buy a new duvet. For the big price tag I would expect it to last longer.

Spent the extra money to upgrade duvet inner. Unfortunately after approximately 3 years of use, the down has migrated significantly to the outer baffles, leaving the middle sections sparse. Frustrating as do not want to have to replace, even at 40% off!. Will have to switch back to our 90/10 feather down inner that has not suffered from this annoyance.
When I manage to get all the feathers back into the middle sections (which is a mission you canโt just shake it you have to try and push them through the tiny gaps, it keeps the kids warm but all the feathers on all 3 kids duvets end up on the outter sections so nothing in the middle where you actually want them on you to keep warm. So basically you just end up with a couple of layers of cotton on you.
Duvet inner is fantastic - very light, very warm and the feathers & down do get contained within their 'pockets'. Have had these on our king singles for the last 3 weeks ( late autumn). Will hope the duvet performs as expected in the summer and become one of the cooler duvet inners. So far, top marks
Have had this a month now and satisfied with it. Very very toasty warm all night. Often I can feel the heat radiating. So snuggly yet light! Worth a sale price! I would love to get one for all the bed in the house
I have checked on previous reviews and bought it considering it will be appropriate for the colder weather, but looks like its bit at the lighter side. Its a perfect for those chilly weather but once its cools further I guess what we need a bit more of warmth and would be needing those 85/15 goose one as it will be more warm. Any ways this will serve its own purpose and I might buy the warmer one once I get the right price. The feel and comfort is there for sure, I would love to buy same brand again.
I bought this about a year ago. Pretty much straight away we started noticing feathery fluff coming out, then larger feathers started poking through. Stitching came apart allowing feathers to move to the sides. Have tried shaking them back but have given up. Very disappointing purchase considering the price, even at 50% off, huge waste of money. Has now been repurposed to a very expensive dog bed. Not quite sure how this has been rated so highly by others??
The texture is very enjoyable and it feels very light and pleasant. For a $1200 duvet, I thought it would be warmer and with more filling. I'm probably biased because I get quite cold, but for me this is a Spring/Autumn duvet, rather than a Winter one. Other than that I really love it.
