Johnnie Walker Green 700mL - Winner of the World’s Whiskies Awards 2017 for the World’s Best Blended Malt Whisky, this blended malt whisky delivers all the character of a Single Malt whisky, but with a greater depth of flavour. It is crafted by balancing the four key signature styles from Speyside, Highland, Lowland and Island malts, and then matured for at least 15 years. Smoky vanilla oak, pepper, fresh cut grass and sandalwood. Delicate earthiness balanced with a lingering malty aftertaste. Sophisticated and full of finesse, soft with subtle wisps of smoke and lingering toffee on the finish. Price may vary per state.

If you are enjoying the Highland and Speyside Scotch’s, give this a go. Just a touch of peat introduces you to the concept of 1+1=3I.E. the smell does not equal the taste

Great collectors item
Reliable and provide exceptional service, strongly recommend
Johnnie Walker Green Label used to be best value in the Johnnie Walker range. As an age stated, 43%,15 year old blended malt (which used to be known as a vatted malt) it used to have rare balance of the signature malts, Cragganmore, Caol Ila, Linkwood and Talisker. Sadly, since the original Green Label's discontinuation from the market because of lack of 15 year old stock of the core malts in 2013, this newer version is sadly a let down. The balance is non existent and it tastes far younger than the 15 year old age statement on the bottle. The marketing information on the back of the bottle now mentions Lowland whisky and this current Green Label tastes of young Lowland whisky, probably Glenkinchie given that this is a Diageo product. Sadly, Green Label is no longer what it once was and I cannot recommend this once lovely whisky any longer.
Great example of what a big company like JW can produce - with access to large and various quality resources - this is one of the best value blends with some age to it, as well as quality whiskies.
Very smooth, blended by someone who knows what they are doing. A bit "Irish" at first with light, crisp sweetness, switches gears mid way for a light peat medium length finish. Get it for a good price (under 70) and you won't be disappointed.
