It’s one of the many Knicks-inspired sneakers Nike has released over the years. At its core, the Retro Knicks sneaker has the same design as other AJ1 sneakers. The only thing that sets it apart are the colors used on it. The base of the upper is done up in Game Royal, while the ankle, heel, and toe box all predominantly feature Team Orange. The shoe is finished off with a bright white midsole to offset the brightness of the other colors, as well as more Team Orange injected into the outsole. In our expert opinion, the simple fact that this sneaker exists is the most impressive part of all, seeing as how MJ probably wouldn’t have cosigned it during his playing days.
