The A Ma Maniere x Jordan 3 TD “Raised by Women” is the toddler sizing of the collaboration between the Atlanta based retailer and Jordan Brand on Michael Jordan’s third signature shoe. A Summer 2021 release, the “Raised by Women” is A Ma Maniere’s first collaboration with Jordan Brand following its popular “Hand Wash Cold” collection with Nike in 2019. Decidedly vintage-looking, the “Raised by Women” is an ode to A Ma Maniere owner James Whitner’s relationship with his mother, specifically the first shoe she bought Whitner as a kid, which was the Jordan 3. The white tumbled leather upper is matched to a buttery grey suede material on the toe, eyelets, collar, and heel. Cream accenting on the lace holes and heel counter with the Jordan 3’s original “Nike Air” branding mimic the look of design elements that have undergone the process of oxidation. The midsole is painted a shade of Violet Ore and dual A Ma Maniere and Jumpman insignia highlight the left and right tongues, respectively.
