I have loved these shoes and was so excited when I received them! I have primarily used them to play basketball. They are entirely comfortable—the shoe itself and the material of the shoe, as well as the tongue of the shoe being thin rather than bulky or uncomfortable. I also really liked the grip I felt like I had in them—both as I would run the court and in regards to the fit of the shoe around my foot. This shoe really feels fitted perfectly to my foot. The only things I would change are that the color wasn’t my first choice and that I wish they did have a bit more ankle support. However, the comfort and durability of the shoe outweigh any negatives for me and these have become my “go-to” pair when I head out to play.

The first thing I notice about the Jordan Zion 1 is how comfortable and stable it feels on foot. After a short break-in period, the shoe is definitely comfortable enough to wear throughout a game of basketball or casually all day. I prefer the mid-height top over the much higher tops of other basketball shoes because I feel my ankles are supported but not constricted in a way that could impact rapid movement. The only drawback to me is the weight that feels slightly heavy, but that does add to the stability, which may be worth the trade off in a performance shoe. I really love the looks! The two tone purple colors that make up most of the colorway are attention grabbing without being too loud, and the crimson accents add enough pop to make it a great looking shoe. ... I love the look of these shoes. The shoe size runs true to size, I’m always hesitant to get shoes without trying them on first because you never know how a brand will fit. My complaint though is they feel pretty narrow. My foot is on the wider side. These shoes squeezed the ball of my foot pretty tight. After wearing for a while it did loosen a little bit but not enough for it to feel comfortable. I couldn’t wear them all day before this. I loved the design and colors. If I could change something, I’d definitely make them wider, everything else about the shoe I loved.
It has been awhile since I’ve purchased a new pair of basketball shoes, but after slipping into these I could instantly tell the technology has come a long ways! These shoes are extremely lightweight and have the perfect combination of insole comfort with outsole responsiveness on the floor. I feel like the wider outsole around the balls of your feet help add stability for directional changes on the court. The color contrast on these absolutely pop making them a perfect casual summertime shoe! I wear a 9.5, but typically order size 10 to compensate for the ankle braces I wear. If I ordered these again, I would size up to a 10.5, because they run slightly small in my opinion.
