I have loved these shoes and was so excited when I received them! I have primarily used them to play basketball. They are entirely comfortable—the shoe itself and the material of the shoe, as well as the tongue of the shoe being thin rather than bulky or uncomfortable. I also really liked the grip I felt like I had in them—both as I would run the court and in regards to the fit of the shoe around my foot. This shoe really feels fitted perfectly to my foot. The only things I would change are that the color wasn’t my first choice and that I wish they did have a bit more ankle support. However, the comfort and durability of the shoe outweigh any negatives for me and these have become my “go-to” pair when I head out to play.

The first thing I notice about the Jordan Zion 1 is how comfortable and stable it feels on foot. After a short break-in period, the shoe is definitely comfortable enough to wear throughout a game of basketball or casually all day. I prefer the mid-height top over the much higher tops of other basketball shoes because I feel my ankles are supported but not constricted in a way that could impact rapid movement. The only drawback to me is the weight that feels slightly heavy, but that does add to the stability, which may be worth the trade off in a performance shoe. I really love the looks! The two tone purple colors that make up most of the colorway are attention grabbing without being too loud, and the crimson accents add enough pop to make it a great looking shoe. ... My daughter plays travel volleyball. There has been a lack of style and availability for traditional volleyball shoes so we ventured into the basketball shoe category. She has a very narrow and hard to fit foot. The fit is great, and she has worn them for 2 months now and loves them. So far they are wearing well and we are happy with them.
I brought my original size of a 8.5 which is slightly tight, so the multi colored Zion 1's I Brough a half size larger. Feels like you're walking on air/clouds. The sole cushion is amazingly comfortable and removable, but I do not recommend it. The cushion around the ankle for support is heave; haven't had a sneaker give great ankle support with softness included like THIS before. The kicks are enjoyable for the entire day. When you run, even on concrete, it gives you amazing traction, even confidence (always had ankle problems, I didn't even think of my ankles once I started running).The Jordan brand hit the jackpot with the Zion 1s. I just hope the rest of the show line is made similar in its favor.
