Love Joseph and Joseph products but unfortunately not the Folding Potato Masher. It was such hard work mashing potatoes with this masher, possibly due to the small holes. I've only used it once due to this, not sure what I'll do with it...... I don't like it! I would have returned it, if I could have and bought a different style of masher.

This is the type of ingenuity Joseph and Joseph are deservedly known for. It seems like a flimsy concept, and yet with the head locked in place and supported with the collar, I was able to hand mash a massive 2kg of potatoes in a single pot for a Thanksgiving feast. That's about as rough as I get with my mashers haha! And the cherry in top - no awkward mashers storage problems in my utensils draw! Bliss! So glad I took a chance on this one after reading thr positive reviews here.

Excellent design, the folding structure means that one of the most problematic kitchen utensils to store in a drawer has been solved. It takes minimal space in a kitchen drawer, unfolds easily for use and with the metal collar pushed down becomes very sturdy and rigid for mashing.The curved head means that you can mash the potatoes, etc perfectly all around the edges of the pan without any bother. All you then need is to whisk briefly to get perfect fluffy mash.A smashing product!

Great design. Fantastic little masher and the fact that it's foldable makes it easy to store. I have been looking for this for a while as I find the usual ones too big.
Brilliant design, great masher that covers all the pan leaving nothing unmashed. The way it compacts allows great fitting into draw.
This could benefit from a couple of design improvements. The handle could be slimmer & so not take us as much room in the "pot". Also the metal part to keep the head in place does move about. So not as good as the 20+ year old one it replaced.

I love joseph joseph products as they are always very good quality and look funky in the home. The addidtion to my kitchen items of the foldable masher is great. It folds and opens super easy even with me having problems gripping. Storing is easy as it fits snug into the cutlery draw. Quite a bit more expensive than going and picking up a cheap masher but for me have never lasted. Very good product and easy to use.
Difficult to clean and the blade can unclick if you mash with any force. Much preferred the £3.50 solid wooden traditional one with no holes. That's so easy to use and clean and looks nice left out, so the folding feature isn't needed.
Long time fan of most things Joseph Joseph and needed to replace our masher. Loved the fact that the top folds flat, with a satisfying click for easy storage! Many uses already and a firm favourite.
