So, these things all work basically the same, and have the same issues with smell and bugs. But this one is very attractive, doesn't draw attention to itself in my kitchen, and the vent helped minimize smells, when emptied regularly. It is easy to clean. And my favorite feature is the lid... my previous compost bin had a lid with a handle, which is a pain when you have a wet egg shell or plum pit in your hand to get rid of - this is so easy to open with the side of one finger, I rarely even worry about the lid's stay-open option.

Perfect size for me. I love that the lid comes off completely making it super easy to dump the organics and clean it.

Great trash bin, that we can put on top of the kitchen counter. It's great for small organic trash.

Works great! Easy to rinse out, and the handle makes it easy to carry. We did not mount it because the screws are so small and the mounting piece is not really feasible with them or with our cabinet doors. The slim shape fits fine in our under sink cabinet, so it’s no problem.

It has nice dimensions for scraping a plate of food off, however the vent slot kept opening, releasing fruit flies I had to tape it shut. And whats also frustrating is if you dont dump it right away and you do get fruit flies they slip through the cracks between the lid and the body.

I’ve composted forever but never had an “official” bin. I always used an old ice bucket, cookie jar, etc. I didn’t know what I was missing. It doesn’t take up a lot of space. The bags lock into place. Having a cover with vents is so good. I didn’t mount it. So far I just have it on the counter

I like the product and it fits perfectly in our fridge door, making saving the scraps easier, but totally, overpriced for what it is.
