They are sharp but they are surprisingly not so comfortable to hold. The thumb hole on scissors actually needs to be just as big for the thumb as the fingers, to allow it to enter on an angle. While these scissors look like they accommodate this with the molded grip, the hole is still too small and the angle is wrong.

Best kitchen scissors!

These PowerGrip kitchen scissors are excellent. Great value. The best feature is that they easily come apart for a thorough wash. And they are just as easy to re-assemble. Stainless steel, and ergo grip as well.

Thought they were broken went removed from package- Ease of Use - Multi tasks - Japanese Bladed Scissors hope they live up to Japanese standards? Time will tell ? 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

Disappointed

I used this pair of scissors less than twice a week for light work like opening a bag/ carton and after 4 months it was no longer sharp and it became stiff. Even though it says it's stainless steel, it has started to rust. Poor quality as it didn't last long.

Fantastic Scissors

These scissors are wonderful. Comfortable in the hand, easy to use, not too heavy & being able to take apart for washing is wonderful, no more nightmares trying to clean between the blades. Will recommend & highly delighted with them. Best I have ever bought.

Great purchase

The PowerGrip All Purpose Kitchen Scissors is very handy to use. It is strudy, sharp, all purpose and very comfortable to hold. It does detach for easy cleaning and cutting or peeling vegetables -but i never used it for that. Overall, it is very versatile in the kitchen. I am very happy and it is worth the price.

Great quality as always

I’m new to Joseph Joseph and all my recent purchases have not disappointed me. The quality is excellent. Pricing a little high but I think it’s worth it. I’ve need good quality scissors for some time and these are perfect

Sliced through meat and food packaging with ease

I wanted a new pair of kitchen scissors and these seemed to fit the bill. You can wash the easily because they completely come apart then slot back together and feel secure. They are lovely and sharp and in the few weeks I've had them they have sliced through meat and food packaging with ease. I haven't used the herb stripper function so far but it could be a handy option...time will tell.

Soon Blunted

These scissors were brilliant to begin with. The blades were very sharp and cut through everything. The thyme stripper was never successful, but maybe that was just me. I liked the way they came apart for washing, which also made them easier to dry. All in all great scissors. However within six months they started to blunt and the serrated edge made them impossible to sharpen. Now, having had them a year, the only thing they cut is pizza. Such a shame as they started of as the best kitchen scissors I'd ever had.

Super scissors

With arthritic hands it is not easy to find good, comfortable scissors. These Joseph Joseph ones are just that and more. Easy for me to use and good cutters. Being able to separate the blades makes them easy to clean and dry. A gem of a find.
