Before this colander I had an aluminum three legged basket shaped one. It was tipsy and it needed two hands to move it when full. This square design with the handle on the corner is much safer and more convenient to use. The pasta flowed out of it and into the bowl and the frozen shrimp were thawed without any sticking to the colander. So far it works great.
I am really happy I purchased this product. It's a nice size, and the best part is that it has a handle that is really compatible for picking it up with one hand even when it has food in it. It doesn't feel like I'm going to drop it!! I also like the fact that it has small "feet" on the bottom, so that it doesn't rest on the sink. Good product!!!
Seems okay. Feels thick and sturdy. Haven't tried it yet. Sits level on the counter or sink bottom. Cannot hang between my sink dividers which I was kind of hoping would be possible. Color is not bright. So far the color is the only downfall of this product but for the price it's a good choice. Gray was the only option when I was ordering this product.

You know, for the price I didn't expect much. I was wrong! This thing is VERY well made. I mean, sturdier than any colander I have ever owned. Not only that, the holes are perfect size. From the picture it may look like the hopes are too big. Boy was I wrong! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
Versatile and free standing. Easily pours items out.
I thought this looked really practical, in that it would fit in square sinks and square cupboards. But it can't sit in a round pan to drain or steam, it doesn't stack inside a stack of bowls to store, nothing else is square - so it doesn't fit anywhere and ends up taking up more space! Solidly made though.
