I would rate this scales poorly from any manufacturer, but it's especially disappointing from this brand and for this money. The bowl is loose and rickety and feels un-secure when resting anything else on it. The display is not properly visible from any angle but directly in front of it. So when you're looking down from the normal angle it's uselessly unclear. Atrocious. The average rating would make me very skeptical of any reviews on this website. I just don't understand how anybody could find it an acceptable product.

Bought in store and so annoyed and disappointed that they machine failed to work at all. Tried new batteries etc but to no avail.Build quality is not what I expected from Joseph Joseph...appears to be cheap brittle plastic.Will be returning to the store and have now got a different brand which is superb.
