Judgment is an action game with detective elements. This game is famous primarily for its well-written storyline and impressive visuals. Players assume the role of detective Yagami, who investigates a series of murders in Tokyo. The plot of the game is full of twists and unexpected twists, and players will have to use their detective skills to solve the mystery. This game has a lot of content. As Yagami, you are solving cases both big and small as you progress through the game. The game also offers plenty of side activities such as playing the various arcade classics present in the game (You can play Virtua Fighter 5: Final showdown!).The excellent combat system is easy to pick and play but also allows you to choreograph intense fights as you learn and unlock new moves with a steady pace.If you like games that mix heavy themes with the mundane (often comical) day to day of life. This game should keep you entertained.

The Judgment series is a wonderful spin-off of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. You play a defense attorney turned private investigator, digging into conspiracies that are leaving bodies in their wake. Functionally a great fighter (Lost Judgment beats out the first in this department), great writing, and plenty of fun sidestories.This is a great compilation purchase of two great games and a story DLC for the second. If you like Yakuza, this is worth it. If you're interested in a Japanese game that dabbles in the culture of day-to-day Tokyo, this is worth it. If you want something to simply explore a Japanese city district, give it a go. You'll love it.

The Judgment series is the perfect refresher of the Yakuza/Like a Dragon universe. The first game in the set is one of the most grounded and mysterious stories told in the franchise so far. With compelling new characters, unique new fighting styles, and a killer soundtrack, it's incredible how Lost Judgment makes everything better. By refining the two fighting styles and adding a 3rd, Lost Judgment is the perfect Dragon Engine combat game. With an almost unreasonable amount of side content AND a story DLC, Lost Judgment is probably one of my favorite RGG games hands down.

This series has a completely different cast of characters, but takes place in some of the same cities as the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series. These games introduce detective work and stealth, but otherwise are very similar to the Yakuza/Like a Dragon series, aside from the fact that these games include magical spells called "extracts" instead of equipable weapons. You can play Judgment whenever you want, but be aware that Lost Judgment contains a major spoiler for Yakuza: Like a Dragon, due to something major that happened in that game that affects the games' shared universe in a big way. If you're familiar with the Yakuza series, you know what to expect. These are basically more Yakuza games, even set in the same city/map. The fighting is a bit different and more streamlined and there are different mini-games and some "detective" elements to how the story progresses. Overall, a must-buy for Yakuza fans.
Two fantastic beat 'em ups with enthralling stories, charismatic characters, a small but deep city to explore, and lots of fun and often nonsensical pastimes for when you need a break from the thrills of the main game. Although disconnected from the main Yakuza/Like a Dragon timeline, the Judgment series is a must play to any fan of this incredible franchise, and the Judgment Collection bundle is the best way to get both, plus the Kaito Files expansion for Lost Judgment, at a decent price

If you've played the yakuza games youll already know the map since the game is set in the city of kamurocho. you only have 2 fighting styles instead of 4 in yakuza 0, but they're really flashy and cool looking. The graphics in this game look amazing as usual for a ryu ga gokuto studio game (it comes with one of their free stickers too). The characters are really well thought out and the voice acting is great, they even gave the english and japanese different subtitle tracks so that they're more accurate for the language. Speaking of which this game has a LOT of reading in it, so if you're not a fan of reading then give this game a pass. Incredible story with great gameplay. You can play this without having played any previous Yakuza game, and I have to say this might be one of my favourite stories in the franchise. It helps that it has an incredible dub too. Its pretty cheap nowadays, try it out and I trust you wont be disappointed. Its full of content as well.
Looks fantastic in HD. The storyline and gameplay exceed expectations, although the setting and lead character are different in is still as witty interesting and exciting as the Yakuza series. The new lead character is fallen attourney Takayuki yagami and the video game involves his path of redemption. This version also includes all the dlc and improved graphics.
