I made the mistake of getting this game without previewing it on YouTube. It is a first person shooter game for the most part and a very poor one at that. Did they do that in he movie? No not even close. I was hoping more for a puzzle explore type adventure game. You can do split screen but it is very confusing and hard to see what you are shooting at or where the other players are, and I like first person games. My teens and I played it once and have no interest in playing it again. Not recommended. By far the worst game purchase I have made.

I thought this was going to be cool and like the Robin Williams version of the movie. Nope. It wasn't even like the other version of the movie. It's uber frustrating to try to figure out how to play and what the objectives are supposed to be. I even watched a YouTube video on how you're supposed to play it and I was still confused.

This game so far has been lacking creativity. It is very repetitive on each level. My daughter likes it but I had hoped it would be a little more interesting.
Pretty basic. Fun for small kids that don't need much in the way of story, or great graphics. There are 4 levels that are pretty repetitive, but you can get unlocks so that is kind of cool. Not a bad game, and the 4 player local co-op is cool, but I wouldn't pay full price.
My son wanted thsi game when he just got his Nintendo Switch. Being new to ever playing a Switch we found it fun but challenging keeping up with which buttons to use. After playing a few times wehave gotten better and have fun playing this game.
Super fun for my kids. We bought multiple games and my youngest keeps picking this one to play. At first she struggled a bit being 6 but ahe figured it out and loves it.
Didn't know much about the game--picked it up during b2g1 sale. Was excited for an easy entry game to play with my girlfriend and her two kids. Unfortunately, aside from feeling like the gameplay of an old N64 or gamecube game (inaccurate areas of shooting/melee hits, clunky movement, etc), it repeatedly crashed the Switch. Three times we played, three times it crashed. It was very frustrating, and the actual enjoyment level of it is not worth the level of annoyance. Not sure if this is limited to the Switch or if the same occurs on PS4 or Xbox. Looking forward to the new sequel (as of now the franchise has been fantastic), but this game is sadly completely lacking in fun, and just doesn't function correctly.
My son loves the movie so it lead to me buying this game for him. I myself think the game could of been better and they could of went a different way with the game. My son likes playing so I would recommend it to anyone else also. As for an adult playing this game I dont think they would want it.
The tutorial is useful. This game is really fun. If you like the movie, than you will love this game. I highly recommend it.
